UCF scares me more than Texas Tech. Orlando easy flight 
back to NYC, than Lubbock and Pitino not far from horse country in that part of Florida. Reason he loved Kentucky was the pony’s.

From everything I've heard Mullin basically quit when he didn't get the extension so there was little notice. Here school has had a little time to decide, but suspect they didn't want to leave CMA hanging (mutual respect there) and have had time to get feelers out but not necessarily lock anyone in. Apples & oranges imho.

If somehow this does happen, there is one downside. If it doesn’t work out we basically have to give up. Just agree to follow other teams.

Why do you think Rick picked Iona to coach at, it's in NY, NY is close to Rick's heart.
ike most New Yorkers, yeah we might leave it, but we always come home to NY. NY is real special to us.
It's not a done deal, but it's a lot more done then most of us ever thought it would be.

Given what I've heard, I personally have less than zero percent concern. There is a better chance of me hooking up with [insert hot actress here] than Pitino going to Texas.

Right now, the words of Dan Fogelberg resonate in his song "Run for the Roses". "It's a chance of a lifetime in a lifetime of chance. it's high time you join in the dance." A song about the Kentucky Derby and a reference to "the dance". What more could you ask for. I will predict we are dancing next season if by some chance Father Shanley pulls this off, and Rick Pitino is announced as the new coach at SJU.
