Forget people being rude in posts to one another. If someone does not know who Rodney Dangerfield is they should immediately be banned. Age is no excuse either.
Lol!
A recent expose here in New York showed that "bullying" is at an all time high in senior citizens centers. Age is no excuse for bullying.;)
So, are you the bully or the bullied?:silly:  :woohoo:
Ha, Ha Rich! It is a true story that was in news here in NYC. I am guilty of being a Ballbrecher but I don't bully, except for the Al Bovino's of the world.:p
The hunter and the hunted. I envision that deer pic kicking the hunters ass but I cant find the pic :):):):)

Truth be told I see 72 as more of the hunter. He doesn't whine when people bust his chops
As much as I would like to see him back,I wish him good luck. He deserves his shot.
Agree, I wish what's best for him.
Just don't believe he'd benefit from leaving too soon and think he needs one more year in college to work on his game.
It obviously depends on the feedback and evaluations he'll get.
"We shall see."

St. John’s guard Shamorie Ponds has workouts set with the Lakers (20-21), Nuggets (21-22), Jazz (22-23), Pistons (23-24), and potentially the Knicks, though that has yet to be finalized, per his father. Will likely not announce decision until deadline on May 30. #sjubb
The great thing about Ponds is it really easy to root for him. I feel the same way about Clark and Simon.
I agree completely, and don’t really know much about Keita or Dixon, but I really like everything I have read about Figueroa , Williams, Earlington , Roberts and love what Paultzman wrote yesterday about Trimble. They really seem like a super bunch of kids.

I will say this, academically the Mullin recruits are some of the best qualified athletes on the basketball team in a long time. The true freshmen coming in were all very good students. Good students are easier to coach imo.

Latest post NBA Combine MOCK draft via Sport's Illustrated once again has NO mention of Ponds. His individual team workouts have to be stellar & include assurances that he'll be drafted in first round. Otherwise, he should do the smart thing & return to SJU for another year of growth/improvement & be a consistent force over the course of a 30+ game schedule.
Hopefully he'll track down fellow Brooklyn baller Isaiah Whitehead (2nd round to Nets in 2016 after his sophomore. year @ Seton hall) Even though he go a good 2nd round deal $$$, he's spent more time in the "G" league than on the team at the Barclay Center . I wonder if he'd do the same thing if he knew he'd be a G league guy & not a contributor on the NETS NBA roster ? Another year as a Pirate most likely would have improved his draft status. Gotta hope young Mr. Ponds makes a wise decision.

Heard Whitehead does not work hard on his game and doesn't listen to his coaches.

“Hey Magic. It’s Mully. Shamorie is a great kid. Tell him to do the smart thing, return, get better, mature, and come back next year in the first round”.

“You got it Mully. Love you bro”.

The photo is striking and possibly telling. The size difference is amazing. Shamorie looks like his 10 year old son. I know Magic was a freak but Ponds will struggle defending at the next level. A year to strengthen might help.:)

Magic is 6'9 and Slick is 6'1 in shoes. Yes, Ponds would struggle mightily against 6'9 guards like Magic but there was only one Magic that handled the ball like him. LeBron of course is another great player at that height but Magic was a special personality while James is a pompous ass.
BTW, Magic's son who went to NYU is 6'5 and NOTHING like his father.

I think that 6'9" is greatly exaggerated. He was the same height as Howard Stern when Stern visited Magic's talk show.

Wrong, wrong and wrong.
If 6'9 is greatly exaggerated then Shamorie is 5'9.
Look at the picture.:)

I did look at the picture. Better chance of Ponds being 5'10 than there is of Magic being 6'9"

Magic was listed as 6'8 out of high school and while at Michigan state so I would think the 6'9 is with shoes.;)
