A couple of questions.

1) Who is that guy in the photo?
2) Is this a movie or tv show?
3) What is the reference I’m missing?

* I would greatly appreciate it.[/quote]

Answer is the legendary comic and former Kew Gardens resident Rodney Dangerfield The film title is Back to School. I believe the reference made is meant to be in the title of the film and the hope that Ponds will, in fact, be going Back to School.

Expecting, not hoping. :)

Now that everyone is on the same page, I can get back to perfecting the Triple Lindy.

Perfect example of how NBA scouts do not place heavy emphasis on the stat sheet. Coaches would do their kids a favor by impressing upon them that you don't have to volume score to get noticed. Scouts would rather see efficiency, size, ability to defend, IQ and love of the game.

Forget people being rude in posts to one another. If someone does not know who Rodney Dangerfield is they should immediately be banned. Age is no excuse either.

Lol!
A recent expose here in New York showed that "bullying" is at an all time high in senior citizens centers. Age is no excuse for bullying.;)

Agree JohnnyF. But the old saw is you can't teach 'size' or 'speed'. Shamorie is quick as a lightning bug and will have to use his speed and a more efficient shooting touch to separate himself from the other PGs.

Actually Slick will need this year to show the scouts that he HAS point guard skills. His feeds to Figueroa and Clark will be more important than the points he scores.

Good points, '72. All part of that 'efficiency' formula I suspect. Plus, his 'D' has to improve.

Apparently, after all these years, he still gets no respect.
