IF this is the case it was journalism at its worst...I am extremely surprised that the coach or Sanchez and his family have not disavowed it yet, so I find it hard to believe one random poster when there are numerous random posters and quotes from others sources that say he's verballed. You know what Newsman.. you are right and i apologize.. I guess i can't fault you for passing along the things you have heard. Fact of the matter is that the info is not correct. I know for a fact that he did verbal.. Signing his LOI is a different story . This is a good time right now with us adding talent and more on the way. Its a done deal. Monroe is out of the equation now, as is the case with a lot of players. Once a season ends the stranglehold the school has on a player disappears. Aka Jakarr and Jason Smith.

I've learned not to respond to certain posters with negative karma's (aside from mods who someone spent a weekend killin their karma), because it gives you an idea that most of their posts fall within pessimistic negative views no matter what the news is...they'll always find a way to spin it into a negative light. Can't wait for the next couple of weeks when we get a couple of more commits. Exciting times for SJU basketball.

two...the quote from the assistant coach on the two signing with us was an answer to a question. he had no idea one way or another that either had signed when he was asked. so when a reporter asks "what do you think about..." it's a response to a possible unknown.

re: zags. of course, zags has plenty of inside info. he lives, breathes and sh..ts college hoops and he does his job well. he got the sanchez story from sny. he gets stories from redmen.com and johnny jungle. that's what bloggers do. you're making it sound as if he'd be completely lost if not for these sites. i never wrote that.
