Obekpa and weed

I had a good feeling CO would stay. Zags tweeted a week ago that was one of the factors to getting Rysheed to stay because him and obekpa are very close. This is good
 
After rereading, I'm not positive he's staying (leap of faith could mean NBA), but I'm still pretty confident it means he's staying. 95% sure. Hope to get confirmation soon.
 
Sheed is still the key but this is a huge step forward! Sheed, Diallo and BSamp are the last 3 dominos to immediate prominence! smart choice CO, now enjoy a summer of smoking weed and start getting in shape around late August!

I agree it certainly looks that way but I still don't think it's a 100% confirmation. Obviously a great sign though.

That would be a much more balanced team.

Sheed and CO would be better by default with an extra year.

Others hard to say. Overall I think the team would be better.

Maybe... but also a bit harsh on D'Lo and Sir'Dom.

Long way to go but I'd sign up for that starting lineup right now.

I think last year's starters would still be better. Dom and DLo were too good. You know our bench will be better by default though.

I'm not sure the starting 5 would be better but we would be deeper next year which could make our team overall better
 
Surprised I'm the first to commend CO for taking this considerable leap of faith in the new coaching staff and yet having the wisdom to withhold his trust until the new coaching staff earns it.

He's truly a player you want to root for.

What was his other option?

CO sounds just like he did last year after deciding against transferring.

I am ready to forgive Obekpa. I just need to hear him express regret that his actions impacted his teammates and the program. If he has grown from it, I am cool.

Now, if he blames others for the transgression and is jerky about it........later.
