NY YANKEES - 2021

Anyone know why Davis is on the team and not Allen?

They picked up Davis on waivers from TOR and Boone said that Allen when he was called up was a COVID call up so they could send him down without exposure to waivers.  He said without a question Allen would be back up.  Guessing they are trying to see what Davis can bring also.

Question for NY/NJ Yankee fans: what local station is tonight's game on? I am in Jersey City for the weekend and might have the chance to catch some of tonight's game at our hotel if it's on local tv.

Thanks!

Any truth to the rumor now Brett Gardner will end his career on a high and ride off into the sunset /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png

game 108.
gardy, gardy, gardy. 2 runs and the game winning base knock.
seattle nail biter 2 of 4.
9 pitchers used by the yanks.
nothing seems to be able to stop the yanks march to the playoffs.

@jjcoop36

The Yankees have the second best winning percentage in the minors this year so far (full-season teams) and they've done so with what is currently the 7th-youngest average age of their MiLB rosters.

game 110.
sub mariner nail biter 3 of 4 in the books on the correct side of the ledger.
bravo boone for his 31st come from behind win, for keeping stanton in right field, for successfully juggling nearly a dozen bullpen arms, for keeping todays starter in when he looked like crap, doing right with pinch hitting, making late run for MOY.

A month ago over July 4 weekend I was at the NYY-NYM game and the perception could not be more stark, Yankees going in the wrong direction and Mets in 1st place.

Now both Mets and Red Sox cannot get out of their own way and Yankees playing well.

Back to the natural order!

This shouldn't surprise anyone.  Its been running through Yankee Clubhouse and Rizzo was vocal against the shot.  Only a matter of time.  And something was up last night when Voit left his rehab appearance before the game started.

Damn change the name to New York Super Spreaders. Hopefully he will be fine
