Manfred is a train wreck of a Commish.
I'm hoping between Torre, Epstein and Griffey they can help make the right changes in the game and save it before it collapses.  Then again Tony Clark isn't the right guy to run the Union either.  So both sides need help

Yanks phoned one in today, offering little in the way of trying to sweep the Mariners. Can't take Montgomery serious until he can get out of innings with 2 outs. Today he gave up 2 homers with 2 outs. Expect a nasty weekend in Houston. A sweep by the Astros finishes the Yankees season off. Cortes gets the first game. Ugh.

Only in Boone's world: Sanchez 0 for 18 and in the lineup. Voit 7 hits in the last series and he's not in the lineup. I know he got hit on his wrist, but Boone said he was good to go. And a guy who's only played around 30 games, with an All-Star break coming up. Only in Boone's world.

I know everyone hates Boone and again I’m no fan either but what he did last night was planned. He knew going out to the mound would rile up Cole to another level. There was no way he was bringing in Chapman. But the whole dog and pony show jacked up Cole to even higher level. Have to give him credit there

Yankees not satisfied that NY sports fans had to endure the Mets blowing a 5 run first inning lead treat their fans to the wretched sight of them blowing a 5 run ninth inning lead. UNBELIEVABLE

Need to take 6 of 8 minimum, from the Red Sox over these next two weekends.

If not, time to start selling off what you can, though I don't think there's much to give teams (I would have said Chapman a month ago - not now).

If they don't take care of business vs. Boston, and they can't sell off, then it might be time to start rooting for the team to lose the rest of the way, and get a high draft pick.

Can't sink much lower than today. Turned off game to watch the end of Italy - England after Sanchez homer made it 7-2 and German  shut them down in bottom of the 7th. This Yankee team is way beyond flawed. Oh well...
