Including home game with Creighton during early February "surge"? Btw, Butler on road is no gimme either. Would love to agree with you.
 
Creighton has lost a game in conference, anything can happen, esp at MSG. If they lose to Hall turn out the lights, but I still have a glimmer of hope.

If Lavin feels he has not lost the team, he needs to be reading this article over and over at practice, and have copies handed out to the team..He should also have it posted on each players locker..if this doesnt wake up the team, well then he has lost this team, and probably will be gone at seasons end..someone set up the bat phone to PJ..he is watching this closely..

I think so . Home Hall isn't winnable? At Butler who has 1 BE win? Home Marq? At Prov who we just played double OT. On paper these can be W's but we obviously need to play better, and the correct rotation wouldnt hurt either. You think we are just going to lose every game? Not going to happen.

Yes, and we also realize that before that run started in '10, at 11-8 we had already beaten two top15 teams in #13Georgetown and #9Notre Dame. Plus had wins against West Virginia and Providence
This year we are 1-8 in games that matter. There is a huge difference.

We started 4-2 in conference though not 1-5 (If we win)
 
Come on guys, I got dumped recently and nothing is going right. Only have STJ hoops to look forward to-- BE POSITIVE! The run starts tomorrow!
 
My prediction.
If SJU lose to SHU then we`ll start out 0-8 and even then Lavin would continue to say his nonsense.
I don`t even listing to the guy anymore.

We could go 0-10 and he`d say: "Oh the kids are battling and we`re in it to the very end." YAWNNNNNNNNNNN

You should have put a few more W's and fewer N's. Would have balanced out a bit better and not look like a Norm recruiting class.

If Lavin is back next year, anyone can mark this down too: "WE WILL NOT MAKE THE NCAA NEXT YEAR."
We probably won`t start 0-5 again but we won`t make the ncaa.

For 15, hopefully he gets all 5star players that can SHOOT. The when he puts in a brainless lineup, the players would coveup his mistakes because they`re great. I just hope those 2015 players could coach up each other because Lavin and staff surely won`t.

Personally I`d rather a coach that knows wtf he`s doing on the sidelines.
Lavin I`m sure is a good man, and hate for anyone to lose their job no matter what profession.
Bottomline though, in sports it all comes down to wins, not about oh he`s a good face on the sidelines.

Isn`t it time to be back on top like we were in the 80s, since then it was just the Artest years, then one other year since (norms seniors/Lavins first season).

I won`t keep repeating myself with each loss and say "oh fire Lavin" "oh hire this guy or hire that guy" as I have already said my piece so why continue to repeat myself.
So I`ll just read the posts and watch the games and will be back in March (to once again say fire lavin and hire this or that guy lol.) unless someone posts to me, then I`ll answer.
I will give the team a congrats whenever they get their first win

@NYPost_Brazille: I think the problem lies otherwise in terms of recruiting. But Chiles has been successful at every stop in his career as a recruiter. #sjubb

I hate to see anyone fired either but I can't feel sorry for someone who probably will net 4.5 - 5 million dollars over six years while providing little joy to the fans. I could live out a nice life with that money and I am not that old.
 
To be above 50% in conference, you need to sneak in a few road wins with solid end game play. Does this team fit that profile? It seems if we make a run, and get up a few or stay close like the Cuse and V games, the other team suddenly gets serious. Some of our leads are so short lived, you wonder if we were just being toyed with.
 
Fair article and I think most of what he says is very accurate. That being said, I doubt Lavin doesn't doesn't want to be here and I wonder who the source to program is. This is complete hearsay but source could be hicks (maybe not leaving on good terms). College coach is probably Pecora. Guy wants this job so bad-lol!

If it is Pecora, he shouldn't be talking...he wouldn't even be considered...I am not impressed with Fordham's development...
