Not putting all the blame on Jones. This entire team is bad.Tough to evaluate Jones when the pocket collapses every play.
To me, Gettleman is the GM equivalent of Ray Handley as a coach.Yeah if it wasn't for that second half comeback against Cards or collapse by Cards Giants are staring 0-4 and probably 0-6 (Miami and Buffalo coming up how in the hell are they even going to be competitive?)
This is bad. I don't think Daboll is in trouble but man he needs to work some magic to stop them from embarrassing themselves.. And they are paying the price for Gettleman's awful draft and free agency tenure.
Someone pointed this out 2 years ago, 2021 draft. The Giants were picking 11th, the Cowboys 12th. The Eagles traded up to 10 one pick above the Giants to take DeVonte Smith. The Giants traded down to 20 and took Kadarius Toney. the Cowboys stayed at 12 and took Micah Parsons.
So two of their rivals get two Pro Bowl/All Pro caliber talents and the Giants get a bust who gets traded away a year later.
Yeah I don't see how with the way they are currently playing especially on offense they stay competitive with either the Fins or the Bills.Giants are going to be outscored 101-17 over the next two weeks.
Don't feel bad for Jones-he is getting $40 million to play tackling dummy. could have spent more wisely on the O-lineI feel bad for Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor that they have to play behind this offensive line. The abuse they get each week is really not okay.
If Jones is out for a significant period of time, this becomes a Caleb Williams tank job.
His contract is fine. We'll be able to get out of it after next year with a small cap hit. Signing him was cheaper towards the cap vs. tagging him. It was the only way to keep Saquon.Don't feel bad for Jones-he is getting $40 million to play tackling dummy. could have spent more wisely on the O-line
Gotta start rooting for the Bears, Panthers, Patriots and Broncos.Done talking about this year.
Just hoping they go 1-15, and draft a top QB.
With Jones here next year, the kid won't be thrown to the wolves, and they can take their time with him.
Hopefully 2 years would be enough time to get a pretty good line.to protect him.
Caleb Williams has great escapability. Pat Mahomes on steroids.I feel bad for Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor that they have to play behind this offensive line. The abuse they get each week is really not okay.

Giants have drafted the most lineman of any team in the last three years, including using a #5 overall pick on Neal, third rounder on Ezeudu (as a guard), and a second rounder on Schmitz. Plus Andrew Thomas four years ago with another top five overall pick, and Peart with a third rounder. The Giants should do what Eagles did, put together an effective O Line; that is the draft priority--if you saw the Birds game yesterday, you would see how an offensive line can dominate the game. 38 minutes time of possession; 77 offensive plays; The "Brotherly Shove" on 3rd and short. (And yes I am a Birds fan)
