90% of a people have never heard of Bannon or the position to which he is being appointed.

SO the fact that 90% of the electorate are uninformed dolts, and you'll get no argument from me on that, makes the appointment of an anti-Semitic, racist leader of the largest media supporter of the white nationalist movement okay? I'm just a little confused by what you're trying to say.

Oh, you must mean that white nationalist movement of people who want jobs, not handouts; that white nationalist movement that included more blacks and Hispanics than voted for Romney? Still waiting to hear what Obama / Clinton did for minorities in 8 years other than con them but the left was too busy at their cocktail parties plotting to end this democracy and counting minority votes that never came. The brainwashing continues.

The white nationalist movement should not be confused with a change movement. The white nationalist movement is not about jobs or entitlements, it is an unapologetic campaign for white supremacy.

RPT: Students Demand Classmates Remove Trump Flags Because They Create 'Hostile Environment'

Students at St. John’s University in Queens, New York, are demanding that their classmates remove Donald Trump/Mike Pence flags displayed in their window, according to National Review.
A student claims that his classmates received a letter from some of the residents in their dorm.
"We, your fellow residents of Century Hall, request that you remove the flags in support of the president-elect from your window," the letter reads. "We believe their display constitutes harassment, and therefore violated the University's Code of Conduct."

The letter cites the university's official definition of harassment: "Any behavior (verbal, written, or physical) that abuses, assails, intimidates, demeans, victimizes, or has the effect of creating a hostile environment for any person."

“You may in fact be a proud racist, misogynist, homophobe, etc.," the letter continues. "However, in the days since his election, hundreds of hate crimes have been committed in the name of the president-elect ... We are writing this letter anonymously because we are afraid you yourself will engage in this behavior ... While we cannot ask you not to support the president-elect, as is your right, we are well within our rights to ask that you cease creating a hostile environment for your fellow students.”

The letter concludes with a demand that the flags be removed immediately, or the anonymous letter-writer will involve the administration.

National Review reported, citing a student source, that the residents of the room in question have decided to keep the flags up despite the letter.

Good. This is getting ridiculous. What about the Trump haters assaulting Trump supporters? Cuts both ways. So if Hillary won we can call her support harassment? Utterly F in ridiculous! He is the darn President of the U.S. and you can't support him?

it seems like every day I'm seeing a different video of Trump supports getting assaulted or even people in cars getting caught near protests. Of course I'm not really seeing this on the tv. Thank God for the internet

He is the darn President of the U.S. and you can't support him?

Actually, Obama is president. And I assume you are supporting him since you seem so angry in your post, right?

I hate the guy, but there is something known as freedom of speech. As long as these aren't signs with swastikas on them and pictures of the klan next to Trump's name, the students should stop complaining. But if students start carving Trump's name into cars and spray painting racist crap on walls, they should be expelled. I assume it won't get to that though.

He is the darn President of the U.S. and you can't support him?

Actually, Obama is president. And I assume you are supporting him since you seem so angry in your post, right?
OK, President elect, and Obama is not my President (actually he is and I accept him as such unlike some of the dopey anti Trump protesters). The more likely scenario than Trump supporters painting graffiti or causing any other damage is the anti Trump protesters damaging the cars of the Trump supporters and I of course I am sure I can count on you for standing for their expulsion from the university should they be caught.

I don't know about New York, but in the Bay Area it's been racists who upon being emboldened by the election have emerged from the shadows to harass people on BART and vandalize with hateful messages. (Outside of the A-holes who broke my neighborhood's windows during protests, of course.)

But yes, I'm all for expulsion for anyone vandalizing on campus. With the exception of Lovett and Ponds, however. We need them badly.

I might actually be OK with vandals of either party getting shot. Maybe nonlethal rubber bullets to the sac, but shot nonetheless.

Have you ever been to Breitbart? I want you to have jobs. I'm not complaining about the fact we lost. I'm just mentioning that Trump just named someone thisclose to being a Nazi as his chief strategist. Just saying.

And trust me I have no problem believing that some of you might even sympathize with the white nationalist movement, but the few of you who might do so have to be smart enough to understand that such leanings and intentions would be best kept in the shadows at this point, by the administration.

Like I said, brainwashing. Leftists stand for nothing but power seizure; instead of spouting boogie man stories about a movement that doesn't exist please tell me ONE thing your president did for the minorities or the working middle class of this country, just ONE thing. Oh, and while you're at it, explain the much higher than anyone expected minority vote for the Trump led secret hidden in the closet white nationalist movement. Somehow I think you'll just keep on ignoring talking anything of substance and just keep spouting fairy tale punch lines. Trump was not my choice of choices by any means but he put a stop to the leftist elite takeover of the greatest democracy this world has ever seen and that is plenty good enough for me.

He is the darn President of the U.S. and you can't support him?

Actually, Obama is president. And I assume you are supporting him since you seem so angry in your post, right?

So, tell me about the riots in the streets when Obama got elected, I missed that. Or the people who got beat up by the white nationalist movement demonstrators, missed that too. I also missed the collective whining and the tantrums over the result which has reached the point of utter ridiculousness. The people who opposed the leftist takeover did it the lawful way, by the vote; the left has no respect for the rule of law and prove it constantly led by the current President and defeated candidate. I do not want to speak for Bamafan, but who is angry, someone who expresses a view other than yours or people who support anarchy in the streets over a lawful election, who support the wanton killing of cops, and support BLM but are perfectly willing to con minorities every four years then strategize to keep them in what is essentially institutionalized poverty to ensure a voting base. Because, like it or not, one of Trumps promises that will be watched closely by the white nationalist movement will be his vow to revitalize inner cities. And we will be expecting success, not the lip service con job both parties have served up over the last 50 years. And I'll ask you too, for all your PC, what has eight years of Obama done for minorities? One program or initiative to improve the education or job training, and more importantly, job creation, for minorities? Because I missed that too.

I don't want to get into this whole left vs right "brainwashing" argument, but i do feel the need to back up Obama a bit here because he has done things for minorities in his time in office.

I hope you'll look into "My Brothers Keeper" an initiative started by Obama --https://www.whitehouse.gov/my-brothers-keeper

Also read this quote in an article by NBC News -- "There has been major progress under President Obama in education with regard to high school dropout rates. According to the Department of Education, High School dropout rates are at a historic low, with the greatest progress seen among African Americans and Hispanics. Overall the national high school graduation rate hit an all time high in 2013 of 81.4 percent."

On top of this, and i know this is controversial, but the affordable health care act has helped minorities has it not?

Obama might not have knocked it out the park when dealing with minority issues. Even famous alum J Cole rapped "no disrespect but in terms of change, i haven't seen any".

But I think J. Cole is a bit wrong in that statement and i think you are a bit wrong as well. Like I said, obama didn't knock it out the park in this aspect of his presidency, but we can't sit around and pretend he didn't do ANYTHING. And personally, I'm not holding my breath on Trump helping out minorities, he's insulted some of them already. But ill believe it if see it.

I guess I'm one of the nut jobs liberals you speak of, but am rooting for trump to do well and bring us all together, as every american should be. I thought Chappelle's commentary during his monologue was great. I know Trump has hurt a lot of people with his words, but i say we stop the protests and hope he can bring us all together and improve the country

Our freedom of speech is slowly eroding. Or maybe not so slowly. I give people a lot of leeway when it comes to saying stuff, even stuff that I abhor. Now, it seems, there's a possibility that pretty much anything someone says can offend someone somewhere. Funny how the left used to the champion of the 1st amendment. Not any more.

Well, for the last 8 years, the politics of divisiveness have been at it full blast. It's really Obama's best accomplishment, to sharply divide left and right, black and white, rich and poor - all for political gain.

Along the way, we saw "little" Trayvon Martin, the son Obama never had but would have looked exactly like that, brutally attacked and murdered by a white guy, George Zimmerman (who was half Latino, but that doesn't play well in the narrative). Of course using that criteria (one white parent), Obama would be called white also. When the evidence showed that it was Martin attacking Zimmerman, that the photos of Martin all over the press were 5 years old, that Martin was suspended from school at the time, was a small time drug dealer, it hardly all matter - the damage was done and another racial divide widened. Even Hillary Clinton tried to capitalize on this with photo ops with Trayvon's mom.

A gentle giant thug attacks a cop in Ferguson Missouri, and professional rioters come in to torch the place. The riots were about as spontaneous as the Benghazi terrorist attacks. Obama sends in Eric Holder to "quell" the violence and instead of calling for law and order, Holder tells crowds that he too has been a victim of racial profiling by police. The only problem is that a video surfaced of the gentle giant robbing a convenience store moments before assaulting a cop that told him to walk on the sidewalk and not in the roadway. Too late, damage done, and Sharpton was there to present the gentle boy as cowering "Hands up, don't shoot"

Who can forget the brilliant "Occupy Wall Street" protests in 2012, financed by George Soros. Dividing rich vs poor always worked. The main street vs. Wall Street slogan was actually co-opted from FDR;s first campaign. It works especially well when your opponent is a successful investment banker who has grown hundreds of companies, but the liberal left makes it appear as though he is a corporate raider who divided up winning company's for profit.

Brilliantly, Obama ran as a Christian in 2008 when he thought it carried gravitas, then rarely if ever mentioned his faith again. However, the left began painting religious Christians as fanatics, pro-abortion folks as Women's Rights advocates and those against as being against women.

Those Americans for enforcing immigration law were painted as racist anti-Hispanic, and ant-iAmerican. Hillary called for open borders, and spoke like LAdy Liberty in declaring that our country's history allowed everyone to come here to better themselves. Do they actually believe this? Of course not. It was all about expanding the Democratic tent. Trump speaks of illegal immigration and he is called a racist. Dirty word that racism is, and so easy to color almost anyone out of context in that manner.

Way back in the good old days of 2008, good ol' Brack and every other Democrat believed marriage was between a man and a woman, and don't ask, don't tell was as far as good ol
' Bill would go. Even Andrew Cuomo, who ran his dad's mayoral campaign with slurs against Ed Koch on posters in Queens Blvd that said "Vote for Cuomo, not the homo" was soon doing a 180, performing gay weddings. Why? IT made the tent bigger.

Every terrorist act committed by radical Islamic extremists, was an opportunity not to call and end to this madness, but to chastise Americans and remind them that "Chri9stians have committed far worse atrocities through the ages". Pure nonsense but it played well to their base, and in light of an exploding US Muslim population sought to curry favor with them and have the voting blue.

Son finally, en masse, middle Americans got sick and tired of this garbage once and for all, and large numbers o Democrats, Independents, and even significant numbers of Latinos knew the score and voted for Trump. Not because Trump is a great candidate, but he offers the possibility of ending this nonsense, of common sense decision making with no allegiance to anyone, of tossing out the bad policies designed to keep people in power and nothing else.

You might even thank Obama for Trump's election. God knows, Obama hates Hillary and vice-versa, so he isn't crying over that. But when you continue to divide, divide, divide, and there are even dead cops ambushed and murdered as a result, just enough good Americans fought back with their vote.

What do you think Trump will do for minorities? And do you even know what a white nationalist is? Because it doesn't seem like you do.

We will see what Trump does; I expect that meaningful job creation is at the top if not job 1 and would include a robust plan to include minorities. As I made very plain leading up to the election, I supported him solely because he was not Clinton, period, end of story. I do know what Obama, Bush, Clinton etc., ad infinitum previously did, absolutely, utterly, completely, nothing. As for the definition of white nationalist, it is one of those phrases that honestly means nothing to me; it is just one more of the catch-all phrases the left uses to divert meaningful dialogue and to paint people that disagree with them with the same brush. My use of the term is meant as nothing more than sarcasm that you guys really think it has any relevancy to the election results. BTW, since Trump is still waiting to take office can't you or anyone else take a shot at telling me what is much more pertinent and should be easier, in 8 years what exactly did Obama do for minorities? But nice try.

Appreciate the response but sorry, any statistic coming out of NBC News needs to be taken with an ocean of salt, cooking the books is a leftist staple and NBC is certainly part of the movement. And, even if the rate did really drop, what policy or initiative of Obama's drove that statistic? Finally, I do not for a second think all liberals are nut jobs, nor all Democrats, not even close. But I do think many good intentioned people have been completely fooled by the ultra left agenda which now controls the Democratic Party and the mainstream media sellout is the primary driver for that con. And FWIW, my wife is one of those that I feel was hoodwinked.

I understand where you are coming from. I am young and kind of just got into politics in the past 2 years or so. The situation in Ferguson, Missouri is when I really started to get involved. Im not so sure where i land politically, I lean left on social issues.

I do agree with your viewpoint on the media. What a disaster they are, i can't stand seeing it anymore. I think the whole country and the media need to look in the mirror after this election. The protests from the lefts aren't going to do anything, they can't change the results of the election. And the many stories of Trump supporters thinking they are free to be openly sexist and racist because Trump won aren't going to help either.

Like i said before, I think both sides know the country is very divided, but no one seems to care enough to do anything about it. Hopefully Trump can become a strong leader and fix this, but it will be very hard.

Being young doesn't mean being wrong and there is a very big difference IMO between "leaning left" which, taking into account your age and posting demeanor, I take to mean being very compassionate and the leftist movement, which isn't the least bit compassionate but merely wants to control things completely and tell everyone else what to say, do, think, and ensure their rule. Please don't confuse the two. I think the leftist / globalization movement, led by a corrupt and dishonest media, fooled many compassionate people into voting for something and someone they didn't really understand. Had the media been even remotely objective, the Electoral College landslide would have been even worse. And for those clamoring to do away with the Electoral College, think what it would mean going forward, our presidential candidates would campaign in 5 states and 20 cities and leave the rest of the country to rot. Those that created the Constitution knew exactly what they were doing. All one has to do is look at the US map showing red to realize the butt whipping administered. Take out the leftist strongholds of California and New York, where Trump didn't even campaign, and Clinton had nothing.

“An orphan quote [unattributed quote in search of a home] sometimes attributed to Georges Clemenceau is:

Any man who is not a socialist at age 20 has no heart. Any man who is still a socialist at age 40 has no head.

The election is over and those of us who persist in proving that we remain among the more aggrieved are shirking our responsibilities to make our country work. "Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way".
