They can get it now. All it takes is someone willing to pay the money they deem worth. Just as done for the bball and football players currently.

Cheerleaders have always been allowed to cash in, since they are not under the jurisdiction on the NCAA. The only issue for them is finding someone willing to pay them. Good article here:

The courts have clearly spoken on this. Players are allowed to receive proceeds from name, image and likeness (NIL) deals.
