We re all in a real foul mood. We were ranked 15 and things looked great. Two more losses, another injury, and a high probability of no NCAA tourney for DLO and us fans.
Clean house and let the recruiting chips fall where they may. This is no way to go through a basketball season year after year.

I'm more upset about the no NCAA tourney for D'Lo than I am for myself as a fan. I've got next year. (and the years after that). D'Lo doesn't.
It's enticing to have one of the Hurleys and they'd recruit better locally right away, but I suspect either of them would leave at the first sign of success in the Big East for a bigger school with a bigger budget. Cluess, however, may think that having the St. John's job is the one he'd stay in a long time. We would certainly see better quality coaching.

While cleaning house can they remove Red/White administration as well. Would not mind dealing with professional people.

Trivia time: what's the highest ranking a team has achieved then failed to make the tournament? (I don't know the answer...)

Top of my head. .2012 Kentucky was either ranked 2 or 3... they didn't make the tourney and lost to Robert Morris in the 1st round of the NIT.

They should have fired Calipari.

The year before Cal arrived at Kentucky the Wildcats went 22-14 under Billy Gillespie and did not make the tourney. His first year at Kentucky they went 35-3 and lost in the elite 8. The following 2 years they made it to the final 4 and won a Championship. Then came the 2012/2013 year. The year after they made it to the championship game and this year they're undefeated. Even with that down year, his career record at Kentucky is 171-37(.822). In conference he's gone 70-20(.778). . I know you're being facetious, but just wanted to point that out before someone on here tries to make a comparison.

Would think that Hurley could end up at Duke.

Of course it was sarcasm. But you are aware that before Joe B. Hall won a championship, fans were calling for him to be fired, despite 2 elite eights, an NCAA Final, and NIT championship in his first five years before they won the championship in 1978.

They can pay any amount of money but my bet is John Calipari.
