I thought for a short time he was actually attached to our program, after Ed InglesDid Big East games for ESPN. Both nationally, and for games syndicated to regional networks.

agree on Zuby...Zuby's footwork as really impressed me this year. He was staying with wings and challenging on their drives. He just needs to avoid falling in love with over-hedging and switching when it's not necessary.
That’s crazy, where did you see the Luis mention? The video says 6’9 wingspanBoth mid-height players with long arms. 6'6"-6'7"
Length includes wingspan. https://www.instagram.com/league.him/reel/CxHB6i1sxyo/

Figueroa is a lanky wing with a seven-foot wingspan, big hands and broad shoulders that should fill out nicely in the coming years. He utilizes his length extremely well in his floor game. He covers the court and goes through the lane with long strides
Luis: Standing 6-foot-7 with a near 7-foot-5 wingspan and a sturdy 235-pound frame, he offers intriguing physical tools.
Guess my memory is fuzzy but LJ didn't seem 6'6Both mid-height players with long arms. 6'6"-6'7"

Also important for those five guys to gell in a real game situation against an actual quality opponent.Personally I think the “concern” about the bench use is overblown, but we shall see. As far as Wilcher goes, ANY competitor should want and think they should get more minutes but if he sulks about it, which I very, very, VERY highly doubt, so be it.
Pitino’s job is to win and for those who think he should have played the bench more, I would be interested to know when and for whom people think it should have been done.
You coach to the flow of the game and FWIW, there wasn’t a time where I thought “get X out of there” and the ultimate evidence is the result.
I was at the game, but watching highlights I saw Wilcher engaged and cheering on his teammates like he always did up to the buzzer. Someone made a great play with a few minutes left and he was the first guy up going crazy from the sideline. So not sure where this narrative started.Personally I think the “concern” about the bench use is overblown, but we shall see. I think you are right . When Sims was here in NY , he got a lot of work locally .Like the t.v. call by Fanta and Sparnarkle, I'm a big fan of both guys.
Question about announcers now that Dave Sims got the Sterling gig with the Yankees.
Didn't Dave Sims do t.v. or radio play by play for the Johnnies early in his career??
The only one I questioned was Wilcher. I know he was a little suspect on defense but no worse than Richmond turning over incessantly. Just think these are games Wilcher needs more minutes to show up in bigger games when it matters.Personally I think the “concern” about the bench use is overblown, but we shall see. I agree for the most part but , there was a stretch there where many of us were lamenting or even worse , Richmond’s turnovers .Also important for those five guys to gell in a real game situation against an actual quality opponent.
I found it very telling that Pitino mentioned Kadary’s conditioning after the game. Easy to attribute some of his turnovers and lapses on fatigue. It’s a totally different pace than Syracuse or Seton Hall, so I can see Pitino wanting him to have to play through fatigue for both motivation to improve conditioning & to test him on how to do itI agree for the most part but , there was a stretch there where many of us were lamenting or even worse , Richmond’s turnovers .
What did he have 7 in total and was very sloppy with the ball .
I’m just saying maybe he should have sat a few minutes and be Coached on the bench about them . Wilcher could have grabbed 5 minutes or so , with Richmond on the Bench .
And , if it’s criticism about Wilcher’s defense , he didn’t have to cover Dent . RJ or Scott would handle him pretty well ..Noble was a load too . Good player .
But , Rick is the Coach and surely knows better than any of us . Despite our Arm Chair tendencies .
Sim is the ultimate team player, always rooting for his teammates when he is not in the game. He is captain material and we would be blessed if he finished his college career in Queens. 14 minutes yesterday is just a message to work on his defense. The offense is there, for my money the best shooter on the team.I was at the game, but watching highlights I saw Wilcher engaged and cheering on his teammates like he always did up to the buzzer. Someone made a great play with a few minutes left and he was the first guy up going crazy from the sideline. So not sure where this narrative started Sim is the ultimate team player and captain material if we are lucky to retain him
Agree his 3 really changed the outcome. How is Scott’s three when they had cut the lead to 4 not in the top 5? Arguably the biggest shot of the game.
RJ plays as long as anyone I've seen here. He's definitely nowhere near 235...that description fits Norchad Omier, so my guess someone mixed Luis up with him.Guess my memory is fuzzy but LJ didn't seem 6'6
RJ doesn't play to that wingspan. And that's fine. But if he's 235 wow......
