New Mexico (MSG), Sun., Nov. 17, 12 Noon, FS-1

That woman threw a beer can at a 16 year old's head in a section over. I was watching across the way from 119. Kid's dad was losing his mind, rightfully so.
What do you mean the Garden actually allows Beer in cans to be available at the Game . ? When did they reinstate that insanity ?
Giving fans at any games Beer Cans is asking for trouble . It’s tough to throw a Paper or Plastic Cup of beer and do much damage .

I may be out of touch as I don’t get to many games anymore but , Cans are potentially weapons .
Many inebriated fans can be dangerous at sporting events . As we unfortunately know . .
Most fans are responsible but , it’s the small minority that can ruin anything .

The day he starts posting ppl up with turnaround J's and baby hooks I'll say he plays long. Right now he's a spot up shooter and he drives the line with acrobatic layups. That's not playing long to me.

And before anyone jumps on me I'm team RJ. There are posts last year after the Providence game where I took on those who weren't team RJ.
I was thinking we were just talking literally. With your guidelines, a guard would never be a long player because they don’t shoot hooks or post up.

Length is most used on defense and Luis certainly uses it there. On the press he is often the guy shadowing the inbounder using his length to cut off passing lanes.

You don't have a "problem" with St. John's player's turnovers? Do you have a "problem" with St. John's losing? Because that's what many turnovers often leads too. It's a negative stat. The more you have - the worse it is. Just like points, rebounds and assists being positive stats...only opposite. "Kadary never tries to do too much."? 7 turnovers suggests otherwise.
We won though🤔

Not all turnovers and assists are created equal. He came into the game with a 3:1 assist to turnover ratio. Play loose up big early and tighten it up close late.

We've had a lot of point guards with a ratio like that, but it has come at the expense of nothing being created offensively. Mo Brown, Eugene Lawrence, to name two (they weren't the only ones).

That's not the case with Kadary. Personally, I appreciate the aggresiveness.

Geno averaged over 3 TO’s for his career and finished with a 1.4:1 A:TO

Phil Greene is the ultimate example of someone who never turned it over, but also never created any offense because of it.

TO’s are obviously something you want to limit, but the best players are often the ones who turn it over the most.

Larger point is that we've had point guards with good A/TO ratios, because they're so afraid to take any chances (or their coach doesn't trust them to take chances). Richmond plays a fearless game, and I like that.

BTW Lawrence, who I was not a fan of as a player, could have had more assists, if we had players on those teams who could actually finish around the basket. It takes two to make an assist.

Edited my post after you responded.

I like the guy - am well aware he's real good, cost Repole as much as a blue blood, blue grass yearling and will be a valued centerpiece if we accomplish anything this season. Denigrating our best player on the interweb is your game...not mine. I support all our kids and have written overwhelmingly positively about all of em since Ricky Torres. Sorry Rick. 5 to 7 is a rough assist/turnover ratio and stood out to me while watching. Playing alongside a Mormon point with that skill set makes it seem even worse. It's one game - we won and I'm very happy with the team while awaiting the inevitable sky fall.

Ask the coach. I personally would've been fine if he played 6, even 7. Your boy Zuby is 3rd on the team in rebounding and 7th in scoring. That might knock your socks off, but I'm sure we can do better.
I’m so confused. You said the 5 guys played great. And we won by double digits. So what’s the problem and why is it bizzar?
