Agree. That was an insanely difficult finish by Luis.I thought number 5 should have been number 1.

I don’t think Coach P appreciated the Who’s Your Dady chant. This is right. Sec 109 brought it today as always (who’s your daddy) but the arena needs to be much louder, especially at key moments when momentum is in the balance.
A half decent student section would help
That woman threw a beer can at a 16 year old's head in a section over. I was watching across the way from 119. Kid's dad was losing his mind, rightfully so.Lobo fans were loud and travel well. Sat in 106 good amount of New Methico fans behind us. They were classy though. However, I did see a woman escorted out. I think Coach Pitino is going to be all about matchups. We got a talented group here so I am not worried. Psyched to see how we matchup vs. Baylor.
Agree.Very strong 8 though. Vince can give 6-8 minutes now. Ayo can give similar. Nobody had more than 3 fouls.
Glover and/or Lefty should able to contribute in January.
We saw 4 cops come down. We were like what’s going on.That woman threw a beer can at a 16 year old's head in a section over. I was watching across the way from 119. Kid's dad was losing his mind, rightfully so.
Interesting . If Rick had Richmond for last year . Kadary would weigh 30 pounds less .I found it very telling that Pitino mentioned Kadary’s conditioning after the game. Easy to attribute some of his turnovers and lapses on fatigue. It’s a totally different pace than Syracuse or Seton Hall, so I can see Pitino wanting him to have to play through fatigue for both motivation to improve conditioning & to test him on how to do it
Agreed. I think him or Brady are the best shooters on the team.Sim is the ultimate team player, always rooting for his teammates when he is not in the game. He is captain material and we would be blessed if he finished his college career in Queens. 14 minutes yesterday is just a message to work on his defense. The offense is there, for my money the best shooter on the team.
Sim embracing the mid range game has been huge and a confidence builder. Sooner than later w his stroke he will become proficient three point shooter as well imo.Sim is the ultimate team player, always rooting for his teammates when he is not in the game. The day he starts posting ppl up with turnaround J's and baby hooks I'll say he plays long. Right now he's a spot up shooter and he drives the line with acrobatic layups. That's not playing long to me.RJ plays as long as anyone I've seen here. He's definitely nowhere near 235...that description fits Norchad Omier, so my guess someone mixed Luis up with him.
That’s interesting. I didn’t hear those comments so I missed it. I mean conditioning should not be a factor as this team has been touting the workouts and all that since early in the summer. I mean any 20 year old going through those workouts should not be having “conditioning” issues.I found it very telling that Pitino mentioned Kadary’s conditioning after the game. Yeah. I watched the press conference clip. No one used the quote, which is weird. But I did find it: https://n.rivals.com/news/red-storm-punish-new-mexicoThat’s interesting. Kadary must be eating my diet. Yeah, not sure the word I would use maybe “perplexing”. I remember (I think maybe when Anderson was here) they talked about hiring a nutritionist etc. “Better shape” is what I’m hung up on. At this point that shouldn’t be. Maybe he’s just pushing Richmond psychologically speaking. Don’t want to read too much into it.Yeah. I watched the press conference clip. No one used the quote, which is weird. "This was where Kadary Richmond and Deivon Smith stepped up. Every time New Mexico came close, Richmond hit a big shot or made a defensive stop. Smith used his speed and energy to disrupt the Lobos. “Those two kept us composed,” Rick Pitino said. “They made big plays when we needed them. Kadary has so much more to give us once he gets into better shape. He’s a phenomenal talent. He just has to get used to this up-tempo style.”

You don't have a "problem" with St. John's player's turnovers? Do you have a "problem" with St. John's losing? Because that's what many turnovers often leads too. It's a negative stat. The more you have - the worse it is. Just like points, rebounds and assists being positive stats...only opposite. "Kadary never tries to do too much."? 7 turnovers suggests otherwise. That whipping boy started last year off with 6, 4, and 5 turnovers. I disliked him more than anyone and wrote repeatedly that I didn’t have a problem with his turnovers.
Kadary never tries to do too much. He’s the exact opposite.
