First words out of RJs mouth…. GIVE ALL THE GLORY TO GOD…. Hard not to like this young man.
I love how God is always on the winning side. Bet he rakes it in in Vegas.

And no one ever said the what I consider the over the top criticism of him regards his talent or physical abilities rather it is highlighting every mistake he makes. I’ll give the board credit for not doing that today but Luis had to play a great game to keep the critics at bay. His play is often times described as dumb while others make the same mistakes and escape that label.
I actually thought the New Mexico contingent being loud got the St. John’s crowd a little more into it in the second half.Yeah I thought it was *fine* but nothing out of the ordinary
That was often true though.Correct. They did say he was a selfish undisciplined player who mage boneheaded plays, etc, etc,
Their fans had nothing to cheer for after the lineups were announced for the whole first half. So when they cut into the lead a few times in the second they got loud, because wouldn’t you if you paid all that $$ to travel three thousand miles to watch a team you saw get beat pretty handily the first half. And yes that helped get the MSG crowd into the game as did the narrowing of the lead a bit.I actually thought the New Mexico contingent being loud got the St. John’s crowd a little more into it in the second half.
Which is a tad embarrassing but it is what it is, I expect the crowds to get better and better
This is right. Sec 109 brought it today as always (who’s your daddy) but the arena needs to be much louder, especially at key moments when momentum is in the balance. Not sure I agree with the crowd being electric. The New Mexico fans were loud a few times. St. John’s fans for the most part are not loud. It’s a little embarrassing at times to me. I want it like that Pitt game again.
The Lobo fans added to the sea of red.Decent crowd today. A lot of red
You're lucky I was busy today, or I would have been all over himAnd no one ever said the what I consider the over the top criticism of him regards his talent or physical abilities rather it is highlighting every mistake he makes. Love itLittle surprised starters all played 33-36 min
But this isn’t last year and the player we’ve seen through exhibitions and real games this year is much better than the player we saw last year.He is playing well which we are all happy about. That doesnt change the fact that last year at times, he was abysmal and showed 0 bball iq.
Their fans were very loud and into it in the first half when we were trading baskets and didn’t get quiet until we finally got up eight and then double digits (up 15 at one point) near the later stages of the half before they went on a run at the end. They got loud again when they kept cutting into our lead in the 2nd half but we would hold them off and get a couple of buckets in a row.Their fans had nothing to cheer for after the lineups were announced for the whole first half. I got video on you!!!! His biggest fan!!You're lucky I was busy today, or I would have been all over him
First - Congrats to the Student section for reading this Board and showing up and filling the seats behind the hoop... now all they just gotta learn is how to Cheer! lol... baby steps...Not sure I agree with the crowd being electric. Ruben has to get more minutes than today but agree, a nice pairing. He's gonna be a stud.Zuby great stretch here. Might have a nice duo at the 5
I LIKE OUR FIRST 7, THAT INCLUDES RUBEN. STILL NOT A DUNLAP FANI think we have over rated our depth at this point in the season. Clearly from the second half Pitino has concerns as well.
