Zuby great stretch here. Might have a nice duo at the 5
I we don’t start valuing the ball this will be a nail biter at the end
Sorry Sal. There’s a new Beast of the East. RJ was a man among boys! Most impressed with the assists and rebounds. In first half coach decided to go with Prey as first big off the bench, perhaps he had a better week practicing. The way Zuby played once he came back in we didn't need to go to anyone else.
Not to derail this thread, but this is a Thibs' team!!! Refreshing that STJ will carry that torch while the Knicks figure it outCoach was just channeling his inner Tom Thibideau.
His presence allowed Scott to sky in for a defensive rebound. We don’t get that with Zuby unfortunately.Prey to me has risen the ceiling of this group exponentially. I know this was just a 2 point performance. I think he’s already as good a Defensive rebounder as Zuby. He looked so comfortable catching the ball in the paint. He does great job working before the screens to set up and communicate. He is a great option to have on nights when Zuby doesn’t have it, and Vince is by no means a bad bench option.
He will likely be relegated to teams with huge frontlines when we play good teams. He’s just clumsy compared to our other centers.Vince no minutes today ? I saw no mention last 2 days of injury or other ?
Trye but how many turnovers did he have….. you left that out. Yes he came through at the end but his handle was far too loose and his passing early on was pretty careless. With all that Richmond killed us, check his #s out:
14pnts, 5dimes, 8boardss (5 of those were offensive) & 4 steals.
Yes he definitely killed us today.
Real good game today, and covered the spread..
Now the real fun begins. Guess SJU flies out on Tuesday?
Lets go 3-0, that could get us atleast to the top 12 I'd say.
He did have a few sloppy plays definitely but overall he played an understated good game. Was more assertive than the previous games. His style needs getting used to. I think the sloppiness today was atypical but we’ll see.Y

Is there a link to the postgame interview?
I am not crapping on Luis today at all because he had a GREAT game but I will wait until he has a few more of them before I ordain him “generational”.
6-7 forward shutting down pg. wow!Think Luis defense on Dent was huge. A smart move by Pitino to do that
That’s a very solid crowd for New Mexico. I wasn’t there, but on TV it looked like an excellent atmosphere.
First words out of RJs mouth…. GIVE ALL THE GLORY TO GOD…. Hard not to like this young man.
Yeah, I know, I shouted out kudos for Luis all around game but specifically his defense on Dent two pages before the poster you reference, who also made the same astute observation.6-7 forward shutting down pg. wow!
