And the game is over. Great win. Two wins in the Big East against top 20 teams. If we can beat some unranked teams. I like where we can go.
 
Great, great win! We really needed this ... the team really needed this. A big step forward in learning how to win. Love that Jamal came through at the end. I've got the flu, but am feeling sky-high right now.
 
1 thing I'm sure that is certain to have happened is that many of you declared this game over when Notre Dame took the lead (edit: wow. No. Great job).

The other thing I'm certain of is that some posters will predict us to win the next 5 or 6 in a row or something ridiculous. Lavin is king again...of course, until we lose again.



Great win for these kids. Great bounceback game after the embarrassing Hoya game and great heart by Branch and the defense down the stretch. We always play ND strong in the Garden so I'm not completely shocked.
 
Just back to the office after a meeting. Note from the box score that CO has been invisible. Any story? Is he playing? 1 rebound, 0 shots per ESPN. Still good to see a lead at the under 7.

Watched the last 3 minutes on ESPN3 and figured it out. He's not a very good man to man defender, especially on the pick and roll. It'll come.
 
Jekyll and Hyde team. Boy that was scary, to lose the lead, but to hold on.

Nice win though.
 
Branch played in control for the most part ( hated that attemped tear drop at the end). But the added scoring threat sitting obekpa and getting 3 guards in was the difference tonight along with brey wanting to teach the center a lesson by keeping him on the bench at crunch time. Much needed win and well played. Sampson if he stays another year is going to be a beast with a legit PG and if lawrence comes. Just feels nice to get the bad taste of the G'town debacle out of my mouth.
 
A real strong win for the staff and program as I am sure no one was feeling good as of late.
Nice to see a win against a top ranked team.
 
Great win!! This very well could be a identity game....ps, rumor @ the game was Sanchez could be in uni for next game!!! I hope so!!
 
This was a very impressive win tonite..It was a great coaching move to take Obetpka out of the starting rotation as Bobby Knight noted. More scoring punch without him and the team flow was much better.And, I actually thought we played better D wIthout CO.

Tonight the Redmen were an exciting team to watch, not the ugly stuff we've seen.

Big Question was why Cooley had so much critical bench time with only 3 fouls. It will be interesting to hear Brey's post game comments about that.

Sampson was excellent all game. Pointer provided energy and defense and Branch showed why he needs to be in there as much as possible. He did short arm a few in the lane bunnies though. Great passing by DLO IN SEVERAL SEQUENCES. Jones played some good minutes too.

Glad we held on for the win!
 
Gutty win. I'd like to see us play a little smarter with a 12 point lead. We absolutely just let ND walk right back in the game with sloppy, silly turnovers and shots. Got to learn how to play with a lead and how to manage time and situation. Young teams just make you scratch your head. Good win nonetheless.
 
Glad Branch is getting a lot more playing time; didn't like the floater at the end, but everything else was great.

Good to see D'Lo take a few less shots for the betterment of the team; had some sweet passes too.

Great win for the team morale, especially after losing the big lead. Seeing some fight after they got down really gets you pumped about their potential, but let's see if we can string together a few before getting too excited.
