(NCAA-WEST/Providence) #15 Omaha, Thu., Mar. 20, 9:45p, CBS

Been working portal(yes already)with kids so haven't seen SJ recently all except on tv and Ill be out again for weeks so just throwing a few thoughts out there
1) Have seen Omaha play in person twice....great coach and hes also a great guy. They run a lot of sets and ball screens and a lot of high action...SJ switching ability will cause them a lot of issues as they won't be able to iso mismatches. Play hard but really outmatched.
2) Kansas....lots of issues here within this team. A lot of talent and equal amounts of internal disfunction. Parts are better than the sum of the whole ...my concern wouldn't be Hunter who will get his but if Zeke, AJ, Harris ect are hitting. If not they can't compete with SJ...if they are super tight. They are also fake tough....a few ppl ive spoken with were surprised how soft they were.
Congrats to an amazing fan base...enjoy the ride and I'll be back in the off season! Go SJ..esp Dev :)
thanks for the quick pop back in......

what has me pissed off over our start time is that we play late game. In BE tournament and other conference tournaments the highest seeded team always got the first game (and thus extra time between games). Both Us and Michigan State have been put in the late game while guess what happened to the other two #2 seeds from the SEC both play in the first game at their locations. As Pat McAfee started off his interview with SEC commissioner in their interview, how much did you pay to get 14 teams in for the SEC?

Hell-SJU is in the eastern time zone for TV while Kansas and Arkansas are in central time zone
The extra hours rest thing is not as big of a deal in the NCAA Tournament, because you have a full day off in between games.

That negates a lot of the advantage, if not all of it.

Agree . Omaha surely hasn’t experienced our level of Defensive intensity .
Not that it matters .

All the teams in our League knew exactly what was coming at them from our D and , yet still couldn’t deal with it .
And, those were pretty good teams . Creighton , McQ, UCONN, Xavier . Etc

I’m thinking , neither Kansas or Arkansas have played against that kind of D either .

Zuby will be more than Hunter Dickenson can handle if we play them.

Boogie ? Has he played at all , since his injury ?

Not worried about them either .
Kansas played Houston at home in January and lost 92-86. Houston D is very good and we have often been compared to the Houston D.
Arkansas played at Tennessee and lost 76-52. Tennessee is another team with a comparable defense to ours.

Funny that Kansas played so well against a great Houston team, I watched about 3-4 of their games and they played poorly each time. 9 conference losses, 12 overall. Self looked lost about what was wrong with his squad in a post-game interview.

Is Gruden ok? Too many hits to the head playing football I assume. He’ll be pounding sand after Thursday night.
They are hilarious! I wonder if they bring their own garbage cans on the road with them, send a team manager out to buy them locally during the game or if they unapologetically trash the arena's cans.
