NCAA Tournament Thread

Nova defense & slowing Kansas down impressive. Jerkins is epitome of a solid college player who worked hard to get better.

Nova hanging tough with Kansas.

We need a Nova win badly. Only way the Big East will get any respect.

They still won't get any respect from ESPN. So, it doesn't matter what the Big East does on the court. There was a tweet from an ESPN employee who was raving about the Big East Tournament final, only to delete it minutes later. I believe there is a mandate for ESPN to completely ignore or take potshots at the Big East. Unfortunately, ESPN controls a lot these days when it pertains to sports.

It'll be cool for the conference if 'Nova wins tonight. But at the end of the day, I want MY team to be in these kinda games. Personally, this conference could stink like hot garbage, and if we was winning it every season and going deep in the tournament, it'd suit me fine. This isn't directed at you, but no matter how some wants the conference to receive respect, it's not gonna come, IMO.

Hey! As long, as ESPN continues to show the '30 for 30' "Requiem for the Big East," then I guess that'll suffice. Although, it's a totally different Big East nowadays, it's still positive pub, nonetheless.

Nah I get where you're coming from. I just think if Nova wins it all or at least gets to the final, the media willl have no choice but to show respect. St. John's time will come soon.

I don't think respect is coming this season, but the conference will be getting a lot of positive press this time next season.

Diallo just got some airtime on the bench...despite not playing he is cheering on his teammates. A lot of other blue choppers would not be doing the same if they were locked on the bench.

You get respect by bringing your A game. SHU and X never showed and Nova coming out small in the 2nd half. See if they can get back on track

Yeah, like Yakwe he's a nice kid it appears.

Kansas is one of the best teams in the country but I still can't understand how Diallo got so little playing time.

Self isn't afraid to let his highly recruited big men defer to older guys when they are freshmen. Best thing for Diallo is patience, but not sure if his advisors share the same view.

But if he wants to transfer here I'm all for it.

How is Ochefu not considered an NBA prospect? He looks great everything I see him.

After basically sitting out this year doubtful he would want to sit out a transfer year.

That part wasn't serious. I think he might enter the draft if his advisors have their way.

Still projected in the 1st round somehow

I need you guys to all root for Notre Dame to win it all, because if that happens I could still win first place in my pool despite my champ going out in round 2.
