I will say as great as Gonzaga is offensively, you can definitely score on them. Creighton getting a lot of open looks here

If Creighton can keep hitting their shots, they can win this game. Also wonder how Gonzaga will respond in a close game down the stretch? Not sure they've had many, if any, this season.

Creighton can no longer count on Jefferson and Mahoney hitting shots from deep.  Both of their shots went south at some point of the season.

If one of those two could make shots, then Creighton could potentially have a chance.  It puts too much pressure on Zegarowski and Ballock (who hasn't been as money as he was at one point of the season, and can be defended once you push him off his spot) to make things happen.

They should invoke the 'Mercy Rule' and call this game. Then, some rich guys should 'buy' the team (give the Jebbies a huge payday) and make The Zags an NBA franchise.

St John's (on a good day) could do as well as Creighton against Gonzaga.
I think we would have done better!

Let's see: Creighton finished higher in the league, beat us twice, went to BET final as opposed to being eliminated in quarterfinal, made it to the Sweet 16 and we would have done better. OK

Zags didn't even break a sweat.  Nothing to do but wait for the Gonzaga / Baylor final.  Clear separation between those 2 and the rest of the field

USC or Oregon will have a tough time against Gonzaga.

Why wouldn't they have trouble against the number one undefeated team in the country?

I was very happy when it was obvious Duke and Ky werent getting bids and NC and MSU were getting in but didn’t have teams talented enough to be a real threat. Their have been very few exciting games but now I admit the tournament missed the blue bloods.
It has been a dull tournament up to now.
