NCAA Tournament Thread

Well you don't live in this country so I guess we'll excuse you.

PS I went USGUARD there.  Was replying to Gman.

Baby Arcidiacono barely looks at the basket.  Villanova had favorable matchups during their first two tourney games, but it's obvious Arch handicapped Villanova.

Jay Wright should've had a more viable secondary point or combo guard on his bench.

Arkansas v Oral Roberts up next.
Arkansas beat Oral Roberts Dec 20.

Both teams matured throughout the season. Should be a good game.
Go Hogs!

All the sports bars in Little Rock are packed tonight. Everyone is so excited at the revival of the Basketball Razorbacks.

I'm watching from home. We're experiencing a heavy thunderstorm with lightening. Not a good night to travel to LR.

I have the Zags beating Arkansas in the final so clearly have a rooting interest in this one! Also need Florida State in final 4.

What is the story of how young Arch ended up at Nova. Was this a favor? Was he even highly ranked? I know he's young but I'm just not seeing the skills

I'm going to guess Jay wrapped up young Arch the same way Lou secured Terence Mullin.

Who would have thought 3 years later one of these teams would be in the elite 8. With a chance at the Final 4.

Might not have been easy to predict but if it was one easy to bet it wouldn't be us. /media/kunena/emoticons/sad.png

35-28 at the half. Coach Muss needs to make adjustments. Hogs offense is struggling. Only 5 assists in 1st half.

ORU is playing well.

what's the furthest a 15 seed has ever advanced ?
The Sweet 16 as Florida Gulf Coast was a 15 seed in 2013.  Obviously, with a win tonight, ORU will be the first 15 seed in the Elite 8.

Coach Muss is probably upset with only 28 points. ORU isn't known for defense.

ORU deserves a lot of credit. They've beaten some very good teams.

Bad shot after bad shot by Arkansas; they should be able to take OR to the hoop almost every possession.  Not impressed with coaching so far.

Nothing against Arkansas but I was never a Musselman fan. I’ve always thought he was a bit of a jackass.

I get feeling Arkansas pressure and offensive rebounding will be difference down stretch, hope not.
