Kofi can’t get up and down the court for all those screaming for a true big man.
I was thinking the same thing.  That and he's not much of a defensive presence.  I think we are better off with an athletic stretch 4 who alters shots and can make a 3 now and then.

Might have been good for both of parties that he didn't come here.

Curbelo would have been a really good one in CMAs system. That kid is quick and easy has heart and a motor.

He was my top choice, but through the power of hindsight I would want both instead of him replacing Posh.

The height is great, but 40 pounds lighter would be way better if he were here.

Curbello is special on the offensive end of the floor.

Loyola defends, emphasizes moving ball, passes well and is a fun watch. Moser seems bit of a ham, but credit him for making the pieces fit and getting his kids to play so well together.

You can definitely tell whose coaching tree he's from.

I hope by now everyone is sufficiently pissed all over again that we didn't make the tournament, because we could have caused havoc in such a weird year/tournament.

Did you have to remind me? :-(

At this point, the countdown is on.  There is a ncaa tournament mandate for Mike Anderson and the St Johns Redstorm.

No excuses.

Loyola had a lot of returnees this season and we should have a talented core re-upping next year. With a few additional pieces we may make some noise next year. All about continuity when you’re not getting elites dropped in your lap.

Loyola has smart coaching, game plans and great player execution buying into a system.   Kind of like what St John's is now building under CMA.

If you didn't know before you know now why Mike Cragg wined and dined Porter Moser who was thisclose to taking job 2 yrs ago. It had little to do with the Final Four run. He was building THE top program in a good conference.  He's a program builder.  SJU got a good coach anyway but Cragg does his homework.

I don't know if Loyola can develop into something close to what Gonzaga has done, but that's the goal there.  And hopefully Moser would rather be a part of that than a DePaul or Marquette situation.   We'll see....
