NCAA Tournament Thread

I plan on watching Arkansas v Texas Tech this evening. Tech main scorer is Mac McClung. He finished fourth in scoring in the Big12. McClung has 10 games of 20+ points this season.

My loyalties are split for this game. I've met Tech's coach, Chris Beard. He coached UALR a few years ago in the Sun Belt. They're my hometown team and I attend a lot of UALR's home games. Beard went on to a bigger job at Texas Tech and I wish him well.
Tech opens as a one point favorite. Should be a evenly matched game.

Still early, but fun watching Loyola having 10 pt. lead over Illinois.

It’s amazing how so many of these top seeds just look like they forgot how to play!

Watching all these mid majors not only compete but pull off the upsets against the power conferences further trivializes high school/juco player rankings.

C'mon Loyola! Can we get a Sister Jean on our sidelines? :)

Loyola guy can flat out coach. I am beyond happy we have CMA as our coach but I was not against us hiring Moser and imho he would have been a better choice than Arizona State's Hurley.

Agree and may have another contract leveraging opportunity on heels of his SJU flirtation unless he splits this time to Marquette which I sense may be interested. Good for him.

Kofi can’t get up and down the court for all those screaming for a true big man.

Pretty obvious Loyola Chicago was mis-seeded. They are more like a 4 or 5. Missouri Valley is a good conference. They won both regular and post season.

Mis-seeded pretty badly. I feel like people on the committee wanted an Illinois-Loyola matchup and did what they needed to to shoehorn it in.
