With now only three teams from the BE remaining I am going to ask this Forum's forgiveness for what I am about to say. Please don't ban me or put a pox on me and all my ancestors. But.......I will be rooting for dreaded UCONN to win tonight. That was very hard to type and think it even as I was typing! I would love to see the remaining BE teams go through to the next round even at the horror of actually hoping for a UCONN win. I will do my penance for this mortal sin later.
You are getting close to being forced to wear Mike Zaun's old medium St Johns shirt territory :)
LOL! I can’t remember when I last fit into anything in a size medium!

Tonight, I'm also rooting for UConn as they're playing a Big Ten opponent (Maryland).  I guess I don't dislike UConn as much as several others.  Now, there's a chance I'll root against 'em next round.  /media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

Spoken like someone who didn't have to put up with 20 buses of PBR swilling yahoos (before it was hip) once a year at the garden during their previous BE tenure.  Especially when they first started experiencing some success.  Talk about a fan base that wasn't going to act like they'd been there before and expected to again.  Ha

PS I'll root for them tonight too.
I’ve had to put up with riding Metro North back to CT after an SJU-UCONN many a night with a train full of loud, boorish, drunken UCONN fans and had to put up with abuse wearing my St. John’s gear. Especially after a UCONN win. I really do despise that program and their fans. But tonight I’m putting my loyalty to the BE above my hatred of UCONN. As much as it pains me to do that.

Wife just walked in room, saw Wally on TV, and said, "Whoa, look at those eyebrows."
Is Garza his nephew?/media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

Pitino does have brass ones. He pays recruits. He sets up a whore house in his brother in law name for recruiting purposes and today he is quoted as not liking big time college basketball. Gardencity62

I feel like I need to take a shower for even thinking about rooting for Uconn

Dang!  That stinks for VCU re: Covid issues.  Oregon advances.
I thought the NCAA had a contingency plan. For some reason I thought it was having some teams on standby, not a team getting a bye. Doesn't seem fair in a tournament where exhaustion each round can definitely play a huge role.

UConn has struggled much of year offensively and tonight their guards continue that trend. RJ Cole not a distributor and never met a shot he doesn’t like. Forces too often

I think the contingency plan was for teams prior to the tournament starting.  Louisville was the first school on tap if a school had covid issues prior to the tournament beginning.  Once the tournament started, the games would be considered No Contest if a team had covid issues and had to leave.

Bookshelf looks terrible too.  He's supposed a potential lottery pick?

Iowa beats Grand Canyon. Tough game for Mikey Dixon. (3 points, 1-7 from the field)

Maryland defense looks good but it just could be terrible offense by Pukon.

Book night,  too much hero ball.  The ball sticks when he gets t.  Bounce,  bounce. Bounce.

Maryland's defense keeping Bouknight in check and his draft position may be dropping as a result.  Not looking NBA ready.
