Zion could easily have been called for offensivecon his last drive

Not once, but twice!!
Yep...two push offs

By the way, before we christen Oates as the second coming of Coach K or Bobby Knight, they are getting absolutely destroyed by Texas Tech tonight.

And Barrett may have pushed off on the put back off the missed free throw. That's why I was hoping Zion would make it. Then the worst case scenrio would be OT for UCF. Meanwhile, the refs blew calls both ways, and UCF blew it on that 2 on 1. Good things just seem to always happen to Duke. Often because they have superior players, sometimes because 2 shots go in and out at the end.

Man, Zion plowed down the lane like a tractor trailer on that last possession. If he wore an sju jersey when he mowed down the 1st defender an offensive would have been called. Even on the put back another dukie was shoving a defender out if the gc way

No doubt Zion committed an offensive foul. Then Barrett clearly pushed the UCF player in the back on the free throw. Ugh!

The dream continues for Tariq Owens as he is now in the sweet sixteen. A really good guy who spent three years here, got his degree, was classy and made some excellent contributions to the team. Nice to have someone left playing in the tournament that has some sort of SJU connection.

;) ;) Yeah UCF really got screwed when the refs missed the shot clock violation, they scored on the rebound and then didn’t overturn it from review, right ? It was a great game with some missed calls on both sides. Tacko wasn’t whistled a few times when he clearly fouled as well. Duke got lucky at the end...bc the ball should have gone down on both shots UCF took at the end. If Dawkins converts that alley oop that’s also probably the end of the game.

Feel bad for Johnny and his team...they def played a winning game today. Tough to overcome the top 2 players in the nba draft.

Will Be interesting to see if all zones disrupt duke from here on out or only ones with a 7’6 Center roaming the middle.

Yes to Dawkins if he brings his son though I don't know what year he is.

Not sure if you’re “good things” comment was sarcastic but good things happen to Duke because the NCAA is all about money and Duke is a big breadwinner. Just another rob job for a dirty, but saintly program. End of games like that just make me wonder how much of an idiot I must be to invest my time and emotion.

Couldn’t post about it at the time but that Duke ending broke my heart. Dawkins cooked them the whole game hitting tough shot after tough shot. Then he gets his easiest look of the day with 1 second left and it rolls out. I am heartbroken for them. Obviously wanted duke to lose as well. You can tell Zion is the type to bawl his eyes out when they go down. Maybe it’s shallow to wish that on another man but come on haha as long as he has “DUKE” written across his chest I want him to lose.
Wow crazy game. UCF lost when they pulled a SJ play and forced an alley-oop 2 on 1 missing horribly when they should've just gotten the easy layup. Cost them in the end.
It did cost them but it was not forced. 2 on 1 and the guy with the ball got it over the defender and put it in a perfect spot right on the money. The other kid fumbled it and instead of just trying to bring it down he tried to throw it In.

Also to my fellow Knicks supporters, is anyone else scared to death they are gonna end up with the 3rd pick and get stuck with RJ Barrett?

The guy screams bust to me. Obviously can improve, but I don’t see anything from him that makes me want to draft him. Even Reddish, who has been pretty bad the last month or so, to me looks like a better scorer.

Looking at the remaining NCAA tournament teams and can't help but think about how cheating pays. Bruce Pearl, Kelvin Sampson, Roy Williams, John Calipari, even LSU without a coach.

I'm sure there are more we don't even know about. Just really discouraging as a fan of the sport knowing how uneven of a playing field it is.

Barrett is an Andrew Wiggins 2.0 Inefficient 20 pt scorer on a team that will never have a winning record.

You should be more scared about landing the No. 1 pick.
