Nothing to 'believe' yet, but the 'tea leaf' reading of Paultz's picture hints, is 'who knows', something may be 'up'.

Been going on for year now off and on.[/quote]

I agree, but maybe the '12th time' is the charm...?!?

Because Mullin needs to be back to finalize. Within a week we will have settled all family business.

Nothing is ever a lock, but sense we will probably see that long suggested staffing change. Perhaps right around the time AAU season ends would be nice.

You can’t always get what you want but I’ll gladly welcome a new AC to help on bench & recruit, Ponds back & live with with not landing the big. I am sure some folks will differ, but a trifecta may be too much to ask for considering, “We are St. John’s” :)

You’re probably right Paultz, running the table would be a giddy dream, but I remain in hope mode.
That said, Ponds returning and getting a new AC might be the two most critical variables of the three.
Ponds will gun for a stellar season on all aspects of his game, making it a very exciting year, and a new AC might—just might—be key in landing 1 or 2 or our top 2019 recruiting targets.
Let’s go Johnnies.

As they sang at the royal wedding "AMEN".

Rice dinners on me for a year if you got this one right. This would be bigger than any big we could get at this point. Hope you're right on this one. Fingers crossed

Are we saying that getting Brownlee as as assistant is in the cards? How do we think that this is a monumental plus. Another inexperienced coach to add to our staff. Am I missing sonething?

would be glad to get Rice and have Ponds back but getting that big also would be the cherry on top of the sundae!!

Agree......staff change and Ponds back would be palatable. However, if Kieta goes down, it will take a really super assistant coach to save us.

Bottom line......not being able to land a big over the course of two years is absurd and definitely an indication that something is wrong. I would hope, with the open scholly, we are still working on this non-stop, every single day.
