More Storr!!!!

Not to mention, Villanova is shorthanded, so your figure Armstrong would log major minutes today or for the season (he's averaging 14.5 minutes on the season).

Also, Arkansas has 3 freshman all ranked higher than Storr that hasn't logged a significant minute yet this season. I don't know where some people come up with this idea that just because you have a certain rank it entitles you to playing time.

What good players value most is playing for a winning program. That has been proven over and over again. If you win good players are going to come. Like someone else if Storr leaves because he doesn't want to compete, those are not the type of players you want anyway, you want good players that are going to come in and compete and earn their starting spot.

From everything I've seen Storr is a competitor, he's going to figure it out and earn playing time, but all this stuff about him leaving and coach making a mistake not playing him many minutes early is just straight non-sense.

Nova will be ok, no worse than 4 or 5 in BE and will dance. Moore would be first team BE if he played all year and Whitmore all freshman. Patience.

Well patience may not be an option for their tournament chances. The difference between NBA and college basketball is you only have 31 games, they already have 3 losses, BE is not looking that strong this year, so you figure you're gong to need around 20 wins to make the tournament, When Justin Moore gets back if they already have 5 or 6 losses, is a freshman and guy coming off of an achilles injury really going to save them and hold them to only 3 or 4 losses in BE play? There's guys in the NBA with the best specialist in the world that don't come back the same after an achilles injury or it takes them a significant amount of time to get back to where they were.

I usually don't call stuff this early in the season, but just watching Nova's games, they don't look like a tournament team. It's one thing to lose and play hard, it's another thing to lose and look disengaged for the majority of the game.

Making Plays, with all due respect I know the difference between the NBA & college basketball. You may be right on Nova not making the tournament (time will tell) but you might want to avoid talking down to people.

I was just saying as far as getting things together there's really not much time in a college basketball season. For example Georgetown season is pretty much over 6 games into the season, barring an amazing turnaround, they already have 2 really bad losses, that's going to be hard to overcome selection Sunday

And I wasn't trying to talk down to you, that's never my intention to anyone. I might have to start a disclaimer on my posts that I'm not trying to offend anyone. I just left the barbershop Tuesday night we were in there literally yelling at each other while watching the Creighton/Arkansas game, that's just how we talk sports where I'm from. We'll cuss each other out over a difference of opinion, it's nothing personal.

Nova’s big recruit mark armstrong played 7 minutes today. He is probably on the phone now discussing his transferring options w/ storr.

Some st johns fans. My goodness……..
First on merit he deserves to play not over concerns of transferring, though that would be a concern if things don’t change.
Secondly did you just compare a ST John’s basketball situation with Nova Lol.
Both schools in same conference otherwise….,

Team we root for hasn’t won a tournament game in any of Mike Anderson’s ST John players lifetime but we are discussing Nova potential problems.

Rather than a disclaimer you might want to just change your tone.

That's hilarious coming from you. I've yet to enter a thread where you weren't butting heads with someone.

And also, my disclaimer comment was a joke, I like NCJohnnie, but I'm not changing who I am for anyone. On here, I never call anyone outside their username and I never go personal. I let everyone know if they get their feelings hurt easily I'm probably a person they need to block, because I'm always going to say what's on my mind. And the things I say I'll say to someone's face. I've gotten into many of arguments at bars and at Bud Walton arena, I like to argue my point some people like that about me and some don't and I'm cool with that. Enjoy the rest of your day Boo.

No big deal MP. I was feeling a little grumpy when I read your post after a long family Thanksgiving week. All good and let’s move on.

Yea I know man, it's no big deal. You're one of my favorite guys on here to talk to. Boo was just being Boo and trying to start stuff. Enjoy the weekend and looking forward to a win tomorrow!

Storr is a very good prospect, but honestly like Pinzon his D is a work in progress.
Agree and right now Pinzon is generating more offense. I don’t have any problem with the rotations to date. I don’t think Stanley played in the second half. Hope he’s ok. I think he came up limping in the first half and I recall others mentioning that he was held out the prior game bc of injury.

Yea Pinzon and Storr are probably equally as bad on defense, as far as not letting their man just drive right past them. Difference right now in Pinzon though is his body language on offense and defense is just much better than Storr's. On offense you can see Pinzon has a lot of confidence, I was watching him last night, even without the ball he was cutting, setting good screens, and was moving the ball well and keeping the offense rolling, his shot looks really good, looks like it's going in every time.
