More Jordan Problems?

Rysheed is a good guy. It's amazing that this all speculation as of now and some are so quick to bash him. I hope he qualifies. No chance to be very good without him next year.

Sorry Jack, not happening. Get Mussini & move on. He may be a "good guy" but he has blown a good opportunity. Sounds like he only has himself to blame.

Paultz, are you being sarcastic here or do you have some inside info on Jordan? I hope it's the former otherwise my vacation in Portugal is ruined.

I'm in Ireland & not too happy about this myself, based on what several reliable folks are telling me. We'll see, but worried.

You definitely win the "most dedicated" poster award. Thanks for keeping us in the loop while on (hopefully) vacation.

Oh no. this is horrible. If Jordan isn't eligible what do we do if the NCAA decides in November that Lovett isn't eligible? This could be a disaster.

As far as I can tell (others probably know more), you need a 2.0 GPA to remain eligible to play Division 1 sports.

If Rysheed cannot manage a 2.0 ... at St. John's ... as a communications major or whatever he is ... with whatever extra help the basketball program provides in the way of tutors, etc ... then it's all on him.

It isn't as though he is being required to post a B average in calculus and physics to maintain eligibility.

Jordans problem with acadmics is the same problem the old staff had with him, he leaves campus for stretches of time and goes mia.

The bottom line is that he needs to distance himself from Philly. He seems to refuse to do that.

Not sure if you can elaborate at all Paultz, but are you hearing that he is done permanently it is this a one semester thing ?

I do remember after one of Jordan's missed games this season, Harrison made a comment to the press along the lines of "Rysheed knows he's let his teammates down." Yes, he's had tough circumstances, but the tone of Harrison's comments were revealing.

Time to grow up, Jordan, and capitalize on the major opportunity you've been given.

It sounds like he must have blown off finals (or maybe midterms) completely if there's no chance of being saved by summer/first semester.

If so, hope for LoVett and Mussini and no looking back.

This situation is plain and simple... For a star athlete if you go to class then you play... if you don't.....
I do know this staff will not have the long leash out on this one and this will be resolved shortly.

Perhaps posters should wait a little while before throwing this kid under the bus for the 17th time.

Ugh. Don't like the way that sounded. But the kids are student athletes. They do need to attend classes and at least put in an effort. Losing Jordan would definitely be a punch in the gut.

If in Dublin you have to go to the Brazen Head. If in Belfast go to the Crown Saloon

Being a Redmen fan is treacherous, wow, Keep your seat belts buckled at all times.

I think Jordan is our worst recruit.
Yeah, talent-wise the kid is damn good
But off the court, there's always something going on with this kid. Hell see the face he makes on the court at times? Sometimes I wonder if he's mental.
I was wondering with Wright stayed away from a 5-star kid from Philly.

I think things will settle down w Mullin over time. But we get Lovett, but find out a day later we may loose Jordan, An emotional roller coaster, something we are used to as SJBB fans.
