Monasch Out

Let me say this. Some of you didn't believe my info but the fact is Monasch was forced out days before Lavin was let go. President was very fair to him (or too fair if you ask me) he was allowed to hit his bonuses and announce his departure as resignation not firing. Once again the reason this was announced now is based on dates/bonuses. His firing is not really based on school athletic accomplishments.
by the way- there is a reason De la Rosa brothers transferred and it has nothing to do with basketball or academics.

If Adonis' case has nothing to do with basketball or academics, then why is he going JUCO?

I'm guessing it had to do with the jumping of CO

Seems like you have much more inside information than posters here care to admit.

That's correct. That story went quietly under the table.

Is this TMZ or a message board. Some things should remain private, even on here.

If two fat slob brothers sodomize our starting center in a shower and slice him with a razor blade toothbrush, I certainly want to know about it.

Somethings, maybe. But I don't see why that topic can't be mentioned here.

BTW, your implication that TMZ and message boards are so vastly different is kind've amusing.

Uh yeah, so I think the new AD ought to push hard for replacing CA, thoughts?

How many games played at CA? MSG?

It would cost 100 million to build something similar to Alumni Hall with the unions and cost of labor in NYC. Most people only see the ground level, but AH is several floors with coaching offices on the bottom floor and the athletic department on the top. There is a decent sized fitness center, another basketball court, film rooms, training rooms, and equipment cage, and more. It's pretty damn big. I think there was even a pool there when I first started, but I can't say for sure. I think that's since been filled in when the swimming teams were cut.

I remember the pool. Used by the swim team which got axed under tile IX.

As I recall, the pool was also open to the students when not in use by the swim teams.

Did they really fill in a swimming pool? Seems kind of dumb, unless they built a newer one somewhere else.

Not if they bring the Amish in to handle the raising

blow up the top half get rid of the ceiling put a new roof on and put some damn air conditioning in the place. Or at least put some big holes in the ceiling with skylights that open to release the hot air

And god fix the concessions

My favorite is the entrance and airport security. By the way...I'm surprised you still remember the place.

lol. I'm trying to work out a mega vacation that might take out the beginning of the season so I can pull a rysheed and just make the garden games and some away games :)

I vote for playing every Big East conference game, and any of the half-decent non-conference games, at MSG. Make it the "true" home of SJU. MSG is a huge selling point for recruits, let's really own it. Instead of pouring more money into CA, invest some money in subsidizing student tickets at MSG and providing easy transportation between and the garden and campus.

@WojYahooNBA: Sacramento Kings GM Pete D'Alessandro has accepted a high-ranking front office job with Josh Kroenke in Denver, league sources tell Yahoo.

On to plan B for our AD, I guess. I suggest going to the Stanford AD's website and throwing a dart. Any name it hits will be a great hire.

Oh, I thought that was a done deal. Hmm.
Ok, who are the other candidates?
