Miscalculation

Amazingly, you just happened to pay attention during the team’s slump. Your timing is uncanny.

You are so far ahead of things, that you make the roosters look like they care running behind in the morning.
LW is a provocateur, enjoys doing it and the pushback from others.

I view Marillac and he as the same persona, enjoy their gamesmanship.

In the Summer I didn’t agree with blowing up the roster and everyone got mad. At end of the day we will be in good shape and Pitino will get us back in the tournament, but this appears to be yet another throw away year and it didn’t have to be.
How many different threads are we going to have for this same repetitive topic that I try to avoid but got sucked into due to the topic title not being specific enough to state what was miscalculated. My fault, next time I will ensure to look to see who started the thread and that might give me a better clue in such circumstances.

Not everyone disagreed with you and stop feeling like everyone is against you.

I swear some posters don’t care about anything except being right (no pun intended) even if it is to the detriment of the team.

The season is not over yet and we are 4-4 in conference, not 1-7 or worst.

I am not sure if this is the last one. Maybe our resident oddsmakers Eric or Monte have an over/under.

One thing that we never thought that would happened:

Last year, in Big East games, our team averaged 5.6 3-points per game and .343.
This year we are averaging 5.6 3-points per game and .308.

But one thing that we have improved so much is the 3-point defense:
Past season in Big East games, .367.
This season in Big East games, .281.

Some posters find the interest in departed players mystifying. I find the LACK of it mystifying. As I’ve said, there’s a parental element to rooting for a college team. You get attached to kids, or at least I do. Apart from the obvious talent of the ones who left…I just plain miss them! I’m warming up to the new kids, but it takes time.

Yes

of course
If we were playing well and going to make tournament no one would care
Not sure of your point?

You’re going to have to get used to guys leaving and new guys coming in. Not everyone was pushed out; some chose to leave.

And with NIL and the open portal, don’t think that some of the new guys you’re just getting used to won’t be leaving too.

It’s a brave new world, but it’s the only game we’ve got. You root for the team you have.

So how come after we had our nice little winning streak and started out 4-1 in conference we didn’t hear hey we don’t miss those guys from you?
I only paid attention to Storr
Because we stink I looked up others
This is pretty basic stuff
If you trade for say Daniel Vogelbach and he stinks you check out what guy u traded for him is doing

That’s not what you said though. Kranmars said you only pay attention during the teams slump. And you said of course. Try paying attention when things go well.

I am really tired of people saying we can't make the NCAA tournament. It is far from a guarantee but I still believe are chance are definitely north of 50%.
It's funny because "close" doesn't only count towards horse shoes and hand grenades, it does count towards NET, RPI, etc.

I looked to see what the others were doing once we started sucking
It is exactly what I said
Storr I tracked all year

This is your post to his. You admit if we were playing well…
Well we didn’t hear peep out of you when we were playing well about anything. So he is 100% correct about your post.

Of course
But did say something as was happening in the beginning
I am sure at some point while the Mets sucked in the early 70’s someone mentioned Nolan Ryan
Are u guys asking why I am bringing up now? Of course because we are looking at another lost year
Not hiding that
That is the point
But yes I did question this strategy as it was happening and Jenkins as a point guard in particular
