Minnesota

Thanks greg.

“I probably watched film 100 times on each of those games [Syracuse, Villanova, Xavier, Providence, Creighton] ,” Harrison said. “I know what we did wrong as a group and I’m going to make sure it won’t happen again.”

I'm glad somebody is.

Funny, if Lavin said that, he'd be crucified. IF he's going to make sure it doesn't happen again, he has to come up big in crunch time.

Wrong

If Lavin said that, I'd throw a party. He'd be taking responsibility for a change.
Also, it would mean our coach watched the game tape.

@DarrenWolfson
#Gophers concerned about the Red Storm's guards. They feel like if they win those matchups, they win. Big Chris Obekpa legit NBA prospect.

So tell me what Harrison could possibly know that he can control and make sure doesn't happen again?

I'm so tired of this misconception that we lose close games because Harrison comes up small late. First of all, that's not true, second of all, Harrison, as a leader, can get the guys to make sure we come out swinging. Because the reason we lost all those games is because we went down big early, came back, and didn't have enough steam to finish the come back.

Not because Of D'Angelo Harrison. You and a few others tried to start this whole idea of him being bad late last year and he silenced you after hitting clutch shots against Creighton, Georgetown, and Marquette. Please don't start again.

Putting Harrison aside, we have not won big games for the most part in recent seasons. Now is the time to beat Minnesota & play Gonzaga tough. Time to step up & forget excuses, woulda, coulda crap. SJU is in a league that appears to be better thus far. Let's play our part, not tank again & show we are not completely irrelevant. Is this "Unfinished Business" credo meaningful? The next two games will shed light on that.

Let me tell you Jack. Watch D'Angelo. Wide open he is no bet to make an outside shot, no less with the game on the line. He gets his number called every game in crunch time, and just does not make enough big shots or make the big play. Period.

Now, that was good subterfuge. Tell me exactly Harrison is going to correct the failures of the past if he isn't the coach, if it isn't by knocking down more shots, making a great pass or play, or a defensive stop? How?
