Minnesota

Agree with that can get a ticket for 10 bucks to get in the 100 hundreds.
Guy has a ton of excuses all the time. Two big games and has excuses- really shouldn't be heard from again.

While the team languishes outside the top 60, the ticket prices should be in the Hofstra/Iona range. Once we get good again, the school can price the tickets accordingly.

No one wants to pay Duke/Syracuse prices for mid major games.

So Minnesota won by 52 and Gonzaga destroyed St Joe's last night. Unless we improve by light years from what I've seen so far we are in trouble next week.

Gonzaga is a different animal, but I'm not too worried about Minnesota. They pressed Franklin Pierce and it resulted in 24 turnovers. D-1 teams can really make it ugly if they are having a good night pressing the D-2 teams...it brings out the difference in athletic abilitiy. They won't be able to press our three to four guard lineups like that.

The size worries me, but a couple of the bigs were really laboring up and downt the court. This will likely be a game Amar can pay 5-10 minutes without hurting us.

Did you catch the game tonight Marillac? Can they shoot the 3 well? That's probably my main concern right now. If we can hold them from hitting a ton of 3s and hold our own on the boards somewhat, I say we come out with a close win at MSG.

They need to win these games, good opponents outsidea conference. They need it to get into the big dance

For Duke and Cuse games our "fans" sell their tickets to the highest bidder and then come here to whine about the coach when we lose. If we had a home court advantage maybe we win a couple extra games last year and make the tourney. If we had one on Wednesday maybe we pull out a close game. Instead the no shows will be here whining about the coach.

Our fans don't deserve a better coach than what we have. Most took last year off like they claim coach did recruiting. Sad!

You know something. You are right.
I was told by some that tickets were a lot higher. Turns out they aren't.
I'll see you there!

So providence looked like crap against Albany and almost lost, and now are beating Notre dame and look good.

Hmmmm

You skipped the FSU trouncing?

Mason and Hollins both shooting over 50% from the three line. Must not let them get off.
Team rebounding is good and pretty even, so boxing out will be key. This is a game
that normally would not scare SJU but this team has yet to learn to win these games.
Now is the time.

Don't wanna overlook this game at all but according to CBS Sports Gonzaga will be ranked #7 in the polls tomorrow...

Way to cave Moose! ;)

Even if that were true and not hyperbole that is one hell off a big difference.

NIT Season Tip-Off
Location: New York City
Dates: Wednesday and Friday

Feast your eyes on: St. John’s

The Johnnies are one of three potential bubble teams who will join Gonzaga at Madison Square Garden this week. So they need to take advantage of the home cooking. Even if St. John’s loses the semifinal to Minnesota, it will have another good opportunity for a bubble win in the third-place game, probably against Georgia. Keep in mind the Red Storm also play a winnable true road game at Syracuse on Dec. 6. I know this team underachieved last season, but I love the veteran backcourt of D’Angelo Harrison and Rysheed Jordan. Even so, if St. John's comes out of MSG with an 0-2 record, its path to the NCAA tournament will be quite a bit steeper.
