MICHIGAN (@MSG), Mon., Nov. 13, 6:30p, FS-1

"Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth" ... we got punched in the mouth to end the half... and then proceeded to get kicked and curb stomped lol...

Man.. this was a reality check...same feeling I had once Rodgers went down... so much offseason hype... Place was solidly packed with overwhelming Red... would have been nice to hear that crowd in a tight game at the end.

Team has a long way to go- and the one man at the helm no one doubts.

Learn and go win a couple games in Charleston.

A die hard SJ fan does show for this game. Nothing wrong with anyone choosing not to attend. But, unless its finances or a schedule conflict, if someone CHOOSES not to attend, they aren’t a die hard SJ fan.
There are a million reasons why a "die hard fan" might have decided not attend the game. Maybe he was up with his sick child last night and was exhausted after working all day, Maybe he had a date with a hot babe and is looking to get laid. Or maybe, just maybe, after watching shit basketball for most of the last 20 years he decided that he'll wait for the team to prove themselves on the court before shleping to MSG and paying big bucks to watch them. Don't matter what the reason is, the fact that someone didn't attend tonight's debacle doesn't make them any less of a die fan than those of us who did attend.

Just got home from watching a bunch of kids who’ve never played together, and none of whom—except Soriano—have ever played First Team Major Conference basketball. As I listened to the morons in Section 210 scream “let’s go blue!” I fantasized about a team of Posh, Wusu, Storr, Gardner. and Soriano kicking their asses….

I said if they CHOSE not to attend…didn‘t provide an exhaustive list of approved reasons…

All I read on this board prior to the season is how we brought in kids with a ton of experience who wanted to go out winners etc. From what I saw , I didn’t see any of that.

Of the 10 transfers, only 3 came from high majors and only 1 played a lot of minutes at that level. The transfers that will be relied on the most all come from mid majors. It is a concern many of us didn't want to really think about. I think all can contribute at this level, but it make take time to adjust. Some can handle the rise in class, but it helps when you don't have to carry a heavy load. Jenkins, Dingle and Ledlum all have to. Just something to think about.

I said this before tonight's game and I'll say it again: I do not think that Ledlum has the size or physicality to be a PF at this level. I don't even think he wants to be a PF. I think he sees himself as a SF or 2G.

Unfortunately he doesn't have the skill sets for either. I'm not saying that he won't be a useful piece moving forward, I'm just saying that I don't see him being much help to Soriano down low. I hope to be proven wrong.
