There are a million reasons why a "die hard fan" might have decided not attend the game. Maybe he was up with his sick child last night and was exhausted after working all day, Maybe he had a date with a hot babe and is looking to get laid. Or maybe, just maybe, after watching shit basketball for most of the last 20 years he decided that he'll wait for the team to prove themselves on the court before shleping to MSG and paying big bucks to watch them. Don't matter what the reason is, the fact that someone didn't attend tonight's debacle doesn't make them any less of a die fan than those of us who did attend.A die hard SJ fan does show for this game. Nothing wrong with anyone choosing not to attend. But, unless its finances or a schedule conflict, if someone CHOOSES not to attend, they aren’t a die hard SJ fan.
I counted during the first time out. Was 84.9%It wasn't 90 percent. Not based on the apparel I saw people wearing coming in (which is the best way to judge by). But, I do think we had more fans then they did, and by a decent margin at that.
It was at least 80-85%. I was in a section with almost all SJU fans and very few, including me and my buddy, were wearing redIt wasn't 90 percent. I would have guessed at least 90% SJU from my vantage. It was surprising to me and one of the few positives of the night. It wasn't 90 percent. I said if they CHOSE not to attend…didn‘t provide an exhaustive list of approved reasons…There are a million reasons why a "die hard fan" might have decided not attend the game. Zuby is very very raw.Martelli was telling his players in the huddle to use their height. They certainly did impose their will against us.
