Mets

Ivy no friend to the Mets. Terry Collins is FIESTY!

I love TC and he is without a doubt manager of the year. Totally out managing everyone's favorite Joe Maddon.

I guess we have our answer as far as which is more important great young hitting or great young pitching. The hitting might be more beneficial over a long season but come post season great pitching will beta great hitting. #LGM

Without a doubt. The pitching has overpowered the young hitters of the Cubs. DeGrom settled in after the second home run he gave up and it was smooth sailing. And if wright can play like he did last night for the rest of the playoffs, our lineup 1-4 is excellent. Granderson, Wright, Murphy, and Cespedes is just excellent. One win away from the World Series. Get it done tonight for my bday

Lesson learned is fall behind by two or three runs against the Mets and you are done. Lets hope the LI kid can close it out tonight. By the way how awesome has Familia been? Glad Terry only used him for the 9th last night. We need him armed and ready to go for four games in the WS.

Happy birthday. Hope its a good one for you and Mets nation.

I just want to see the Mets wipe away that smug look that seems to be seared on Theo Epstein's face.

One more game.

Agreed although not just Epstein also Maddon. I loved when they left Citifield down 2-0 and said how confident they were and liked the position they were in. Pretty much not giving the Mets any credit for how well they played. Hope he's still confident and likes the position his team is in.

Maddon's a class act. He praised our team quite a bit after game 2 and said all the right things.

So what's he supposed to say, the series is over and we are not going to show up anymore? It is manager speak and all he can say at that point; I have watched the post games and I think he has been very professional in his comments.

Did anyone think back in July that the NL losing the all star game would cost us home field in the WS? Can't blame Degrom. He did strikeout the side in his only inning.

Was thinking about the same thing and wonder if total of interleague record plus all-star outcome might not be better system?

How about they stop getting cute about it and just let the team with the better regular season record have the home field advantage? Or, the Divisional winner over the wild card team?

They overthink the crap out of this easy stuff.

I would be all for the current system if the NL would've won the game.

Stubhub Wrigley prices dropping like a rock.

Citifield was really, really, cold, but right now there is such a party atmosphere at the ballpark. Met fans are so elated to be in the playoffs that almost in any section instant friends are made by the camaraderie of being a long suffering fan. It's awesome as a fan to be part of that.

Geez, 6 of the 7 playoff games this year have been against the likely 1-2-3 in Cy Young voting, and we've won 4 out of those 6. Simply Amazing. You don't gotta believe, but you really should.

My paper shows 71degrees today and 74 tomorrow in Chicago. Go figure.

I am going tonight!!! I bought section 200's near home plate for $188. With a $10 discount, stubhub total was only 205. I can't figure out how they add so much in fees in NY but not Chicago.

Hoping for a sweep tonight. LGM

this cub destruction is like animal torture but Cespy out of the game which is horrible news

Not a time to get passive, Flores should have been going on contact on Granderson's at bat
