Mets

I do not like dArnaud calling a game at all. You go high on Rizzo on the 0-2 not high and inside since he stands right on the plate. That and a little league play by Lagares and boom, new game

Absolutely agree that the call inside was terrible, especially since its obvious Rizzo stands on the plate and as a result has been hit mucho times. Oh well, almost hurt.

. Agree, venting on my part but obviously it did not matter in the end

Ugh. Why the hell is Cuddyer playing?

Worth a shot considering Duda's struggles, no?

Absolutely. Right now Duda is a sure strikeout against lefties, in fact even against righties. I was hoping Collins would start Cuddyer. Are we going to see Murphy at third and Johnson at second base tomorrow? Wouldn't hurt sitting the captain for the next two days. We shall see.

What a game. Harvey pitched great. Really pumped crowd. Damn if was f'ing cold with the wind

Agree on all accounts. Great to go up 1-0, especially with Arrietta pitching tomorrow.

Did you notice Matt A on the scoreboard in between innings?

nah. he was on ? We were standing so we weren't watching the scoreboard at all

Based in Maher's post as soon as they won, I made an impulse buy and was watching prices tumble yesterday. I gave mine away to someone who never had been to a playoff game, and never would have gone to one, so I'm really pleased.

Going tonight. Very psyched about seeing Syndergaard.

IF anyone is considering going to Chicago let me know. I am going, and haven't bought tix yet. I have 2 rooms prepaid, and can give someone a great deal on one. PM me for more information.

I dont know what the wind will be like tonight but dress very warm

Tix much cheaper for tonight already too. Cheapest now $130 and my guess is they come down maybe even close to $100 for standing room. Had to be because of the cold because last monday our tix got as high as$375 before settling in a little under $300 or so

Also anyone driving go north on grand central and take the exit after the tennis center after 7pm. The cops will be funneling everyone to the right so when you do that you keep going underneath the overhead track and on the right there is a small lot where you can park at no charge. When you do this after the game you run out to your car and you beat all the traffic. Got home last night real quick

Yea, in between innings when they put selfies of people who tweet/instragram photos of themselves at the game... Matt A (and presumably his gf) were the first photo up on the big screen.

By the way, worst parking experience of my life! The game was obviously worth it. But I ended up having to park
south of the LIE! and then they gave us a shuttle bus... to the middle of the Flushing Meadows Park. Nowhere near the stadium.

try the parking area I mentioned but the key is do it between 7 and 7:30. The spot is awesome. Best spot I ever found for a met game and it's literally 5 minute walk

where were you sitting or standing ?

Personally I find that if there is a lot of wind the best area to stand in was a little past 3rd base at the sect 125 sign right in front of the place that sells short rib grilled cheese sandwiches ( really good btw )

But when I went with Gman last monday we got a table behind the left field foul pole area whcih was real good since you could time bathroom stops during the inning when there was no line

On to Wrigley !! deGrominator time
. Hopefully he stays on his game and we put that 1st big nail in the Cubs coffin. Madden is a good manager and they will be ready to play and desperate.

Stubhub Wrigley prices dropping like a rock.

Citifield was really, really, cold, but right now there is such a party atmosphere at the ballpark. Met fans are so elated to be in the playoffs that almost in any section instant friends are made by the camaraderie of being a long suffering fan. It's awesome as a fan to be part of that.

Geez, 6 of the 7 playoff games this year have been against the likely 1-2-3 in Cy Young voting, and we've won 4 out of those 6. Simply Amazing. You don't gotta believe, but you really should.
