I take back everything I ever said bad about Murphy. He can Murph all he wants if he keeps being this clutch. We aren't moving on without him.

Someone please wake up Duda and Wright and tell them to join be rest of the team in Chicago.

I agree about Murphy. It is amazing how the worst baserunner on the team was so aware on the basepaths. It looked little league.

As far as Wright and Duda are concerned, there is no shame in being confused by Kershaw and Grenkie, four times out of five. But the team found a way. However, Wright did have a big hit in game one.

Hopefully those two have an impact against the Cubs. The Cubs pitching is not as good as the LA pair.
 
I thought these off days were for travel, but with these late start and end times, I've found that they are valuable fan recovery days. I'm shot.

I'm also shot. Having gone and stayed till the end for both games at Citi, I do not think my body can handle going tomorrow night, and am therefore leaning towards my couch. I'm really torn to be honest.

Another Chase Utley slide? I'll tell you something. Next year I would drill him 4 times in a game or until he is injured. I'd bring in the hardest throwing, crappiest relievers to do it also so no harm when they get tossed.

I'm stunned the tickets didn't go up more in price based on what happened the 1st series. Plus it's a saturday. Guess I bought a little early

If the tix come down even more maybe I'll go to the 2nd game also but sunday nights are rough with the work week ahead. I was shot for 2 days after the Harvey game last series
 
So Mets after great win again on different pages, at press conference when asked if he would pitch a game 5, Harvey said yes, so did Collins. Alderson when asked was non-committal, don't know he was at the presser or asked elsewhere.

Same. I am going Sunday due to someone's generosity so I gave away Saturday, kind of paying it forward. I don't think I could handle two games in a row that are late nights where you are burning tons of adrenalin screaming for 4 hours.

Agree. I have more confidence with Noah on the mound. One inning is not a big deal.
 
Has to be Noah. You cant pitch Matz against Arietta twice. Weather could be a factor in prices. It is going to be freezing.
 
The biggest thing I got out of this is the Mets young arms (after their obvious talent) are have balls of steel.

DeGrom, without his best stuff gets through 6.

Meanwhile, Syndergaard having never pitched in relief, comes in and resembles a vet.

And lastly, Familia. He his a big game closer. What a moment to record his first career 6 out save. If anyone was having Benitez hot flashes, he put that to bed.
