Mets

seeing the post game celebration put tears in my eyes. Over all the wasted alcohol

-No lead off hitter
-Worst middle infield in baseball?
-Wright's career plunging
-Same with Granderson
-Duda a one year wonder
-Cuddyer injury prone and inflated CO stats
-d'Arnaud still not there def or off
-Flores inflated meaningless Sept stats

But hey, we've got great pitching!

Idiot.

consistent though :)

I'm cautiously optimist. 87-75

Looking forward to going to some games this year.

But if Sandy makes some trades during mid season and gets Cespedes that can really turn things around and we can clinch the division by the time we play cincy in end of september.

John Edwards and the Long Island Medium look out :)

Today's win with the B team even bigger than yesterdays because the dodgers are about to lose to colorado putting us up 1 1/2 games which is actually 2 1/2 since we have the tie breaker.

Huge win today

Haha...being Irish-German, I can appreciate self depreciating humor as much as the next guy, but this post? Hilarious.

Washington has really fallen apart this season and today things got real ugly with Jonathan Papelbon & Bryce Harper fighting in the Nationals dugout. I for one truly despise Papelbon but he may have been right in this case, as Harper didn't run out a short fly to left and Papelbon said something. See for yourself as this dugout scene was so much better than Billy Martin and Reggie Jackson.

I'm not a Harper fan but who the heck is Papelbon. He comes over in late July at trade deadline, doesn't get anyone out and needlessly throws at the other team. He should shut his mouth and do his job. Harper, who will probably win NL MVP, should've kicked his ash. papelbon does not have a good reputation as a teammate. You could say that the Papelbon trade ended the Nats season. Storen was never teh same after the trade.

I don't like when Cespedes doesn't run the ball out as well but I wouldn't expect Eric O'Flaherty to call him out either.

Watch the video. Papelbon baited him and obviously has a bug up his butt about Harper. He yelled loudly to embarrass Harper and then charged him as soon as Harper said something back to him in the dugout. Best way to end your Nationals career by risking injury to their best player. After it was over Papelbon had a satisfied smirk on his face after Harper retreated to the clubhouse. Papelbon is a punk - plain and simple. Nationals announcers in the aftermath said that Harper had been busting it all year, I don't like Harper and hate how players (Cespedes is a big offender) don't run out dropped third strikes or routine plays. But if Papelbon had something to say, it could have waited to the clubhouse or in private. Instead his point was to try to embarrass the de facto MVP of the NL, and instead ends up looking like an ass.
