I was at fenway last night w my son and wife. I love that ballpark more than any in baseball. It was a spectacular september night. Yankee fans would dispute this but I've found sox crowds and all employees to be among tge friendliest most accomodating in baseball. Everyone we encountered - street vendors, ushers, ticket takers, concession workers and fans were all friendly. Chatting with the ticket taker for a few seconds and telling him we were Mets fans, he exclaimed, "We (sox fans) love Met fans (knowing we share a dislike of the Yankees). The good karma of our attendance is that the Sox played the Orioles - our best october moments. As a result the Mets reduced their magic number to one - while I listened on MLB radio and paid slight attention to eh Sox game.

Going to be interesting to see how Alderson and Collins handle the pitching after we clinch. Hopefully we try very hard to get home field in the playoffs. Got to put O'Flaherty and Stauffer out to pasture.

I think Duda has 95% of his offense on the 2 hot streaks. When he gets hot he can do serious damage
