Well at least baltimore won so a loss was still a win.

I'm okay with this slump. Better now than in a few weeks. Get it all out of the system now. Baseball is a very streaky game. YC will break out come playoff time.

100% agree. I'm that superstitious fan that would rather go into playoffs 5-5 in our last 10 rather than 10-0. Will hope they return to peak form in 1.5 weeks!

The only thing that sucks is we are supposed to be excited about the fact that playoffs are around the corner but it's difficult when games are dropped to crappy teams. That division clincher (my guess is next Tuesday) will be sweet though!
 
Orioles up 3-0 on Nats in the 5th. Something tells me that the Mets really only need to win 2 more games in regular season to wrap things up. The Nats certainly aren't the 2008 Phillies chasing us.
 
I really like Matz. The kid has skills. Has to go longer in games but he has great stuff.

People bash Omar's tenure but he sure hit it right with Matz and Harvey. We'll see if Sandy ever drafts someone of that caliber.

Very good player but he has a long way to go to reach Harvey level. I also left out rookie of year Degrom that was a Omar guy etc. When I think of Sandy's drafts I always think of Mr Wyomming Brandon Nimmo. Time will tell. I think Sandy's drafts have been poor but his trades have been awesome. D'Arnaud and Syndergaard for Dickey is ridiculous. Maybe one day will go down as best Met trade ever.
 
I have no problem with the quick pitch. It has always been a part of the game.
