8 and a half games behind Washington. The Nats lost even with their aces Scherzer and Strasburg on the mound. Six man rotation should help with that extra day rest. Good test for Harvey tonight, has to give us more then 5 innings.

Jack, I think its Zack Wheeler tonight. Pitching is much deeper when even a few guys are healthy. I just read that Familia is hoping to begin throwing in a week or two, although he probably is an August or September return.

I have no source, this is just my thought, but I think since it's only the 10 day DL, they're keeping him down. Why bring him up for only 10 days.

Would be ideal. Tell everyone no matter what he goes back down once Cabrera is ready. Takes pressure off gives him a taste and see what you have. Unless they are giving Reyes 10 days to try and get the fork out of his back.
 
Since all three Met announcers claim Conforto is our lock for the all star game should we be ruling out Bruce instead?

At this point its Conforto but still a lot of baseball to be played before the ASG. Blevins has been our Pitching All-Star.

What happened to Robles? I know he was getting hit hard and I thought I saw his name on a Vegas box score. I like Sewald cause he's got a funky delivery ala Turk Wendell. We can stretch things when Familia comes back with Reed and Blevins. They might have an arm left by the end of the year. Occupational hazard pitching for the Mets.

Collins says Cespedes' heel is a recurring injury. Called it tendinitis.
 
Montero pitched three perfect innings in relief with the team losing 8-2. Alderson will probably put him back in the rotation based on that sample size.
 
Lagares broken thumb. I don't think the Met players should play baseball it's too dangerous. :(
 
Kids born when Bonilla signed that contract are entering their senior year of high school this fall, and kids born today will be in their senior year of high school when the contract finally ends.
