Hard to tell who is off more tonight , Ponds or Simon . Hauser is just abusing Simon on defense . We need more athletes next year . Clarke can’t jump or defend quicker players . Ahmed and Owens had no intensity at all , gave nothing on the court . Bad performance reminiscent of early blowouts .

Marquette actually looks a little better without Howard. Don't know how long it will last, but it's been good for a game and a half, so far.

At times this year, when Marquette has had Howard, Rowsey, and Hauser on the court at the same time, it looks like there is not enough ball to go around. They seem a little more well rounded whenever one of them is off the court, but I know that's hard to do.

I've been saying that since Mullin's first season. On the other hand, we don't even play it (zone) well, and, frankly, I don't think the staff can specifically teach it.
