We would be great in 20 minute games . Blowing leads is a function of playing in a league where we are lacking a impact player.

Crap defense from day 1

They can't consistently play defense. We'll get solid possessions occasionally throughout a game, but nothing ever is sustained.

I'm not particularly sweating what occurs offensively, as I think we do enough on that end. It's what we're not doing defensively.

I'd just practice zone, zone, zone, and more zone in practice if I was Pitino.

Soriano is definitely a Big East player, and a very solid one at that. But he’s not captain of a Big East team level good. There’s way too much on his plate and it’s showing.

The funny thing on this site is that the two players who get the most crap Luis and Jenkins are the only ones who offensively keep us in games.

And somewhere along the line, HOF coach or not, Pitino has to take some criticism for his team collapsing in every second half. If they are good enough to stay competitive in 3/4 of the game, they are good enough to win here and there.

We took a very solid position a few weeks ago to prob being on the wrong dude of the bubble now. But we can still make a run. It’s possible. But I don’t see the urgency from some guys who could make a difference. So, it’s a very uphill climb right now. Not looking like a tourney team.

We lead the country in moral victories the past 4-5 years. Probably why we’ve been so mediocre during that stretch
