Marquette Game Thread

It's only noon in LA and I'm ready for bed. Completely worn out!

And on a side note, I hate the blue uniforms. Every team in the Big East with the exception of providence uses blue as their primary or secondary color. We should not.
 
If Providence loses and we end up in a three way tie with them and Xavier, does anyone know how that tie breaker would shake out?

Im pretty sure we're on the short end of the stick there and we will loose the tie breakers.
 
Giving up alcohol for Lent has never had a stronger test than this game. Big win for this team, now on to the Big East tourney to make a statement to the selection committee
 
Have we ever coughed up a 6 point lead with 11 seconds to go before? I don't remember it. Even more improbably, we recovered from it. Nice job.
 
Wow. On the one hand, blowing a 6 point lead with 11 seconds left AND you have the ball is just inexcusable.

On the other hand.. showing you can overcome that disaster to win on the road in double OT against a quality team is pretty damn impressive. It's got to help going into next week.

Man I can't watch some of these games, big cause of stress.

2nd OT we ended I think 3 possessions with GG at the line... I could not watch.

I put my head in my hands with 1 min left down 3 and hear nothing but net and the silence of the crowd ensues. Press the 10 second rewind button and see DLO drill one from 30 feet out. For all his faults I knew when that shot hit we were not going to lose. Phenomenal display of confidence

dont know how anyone remains positive after watching this....would be amongst worst losses in program history....right after we just gave our inept coach an extension.

If it would have been one of the worst loses in history on the road against a team that hardly ever loses at home on senior day with out big men fouled out in double
overtime, then what would you call the win.
 
If PC beats Creighton, they have 3 all alone and we play Xavier. If PC loses, I believe they go to a coin flip to break the tie with Xavier.
