Marquette Game Thread

This team does make like interesting. With we had more 20 point wins, but for today I'll accept a nail biter at a tough road venue.

No need to apologize, Mike. I didn't realize you too were a Jets fan. As am I. So I fully get where you're coming from.

Plus, we all want our guys to do well.

Why does this team insist on doing everything the hard way? But 10-8 in conference isn't too awful.

It's my fault they blew it and went to 2OT. I proclaimed the game won out loud with about 22 seconds to play. I will be sure to never do that again.

On to MSG and a chance to spruce up the résumé.

This was maybe the most draining win ever for me as a fan. This was an extremely GUTTY win for the team. They easily could have mailed it in after we blew the ending of regulation

Congrats to the kids for not giving up. Congrats to the staff for helping the kids keep their composure

I felt the same way, my heart was palpitating. Still pissed that we had to go to OT when they game was in the bag. But, we are still alive. We lshot well today. I liked the way Gift defended Gardner. But ,he is getting worse every game w his FT shooting.Harrison has ice in his veins.
 
If Providence loses and we end up in a three way tie with them and Xavier, does anyone know how that tie breaker would shake out?

Felt like a heart attack the whole way
 
All I can say is, whewwwwwwww. Just as soon as I finish my beverage I'm taking my second Lipitor of the day. I don't think we played poorly on balance, just had spurts of poor play today. I also think Marquette came out pumped and primed for us. So here's the $64K question - does gutting out this win sharpen and get the team ready for the BE tournament, or do we come out flat in the first game? Never mind, forget I asked that.
