LJ in Transfer Portal?
Hearing he bailed on a Zoom call with a prominent coach recently...
Does “bailed” mean he didn’t show up or that he cancelled the call by giving prior notice? Big difference obviously.

He just never showed.

As noted a few weeks ago, staff is still evaluating 20 HS kids and foreign market to fill last roster spot.

Well if he decides to come back, I’d be ok if Anderson is ok with it. I assume he would be, as long as LJ is fully on board. It would certainly help our ability to advance further this season but I’m sure he and the staff would have a lot to hash out. Anybody even know if this is in the realm of possibility at this point, or we just speculating?
"Just speculating" is what we do best on this site

I'm pretty sure we have 2 in the bush.

St. John’s transfer LJ Figueroa expected to make his announcement soon. Source said Oregon is the leader in the clubhouse.

St. John’s transfer LJ Figueroa is heading to Oregon. HUGE pickup for Dana Altman — especially if Figueroa gets a waiver to play this season for the Ducks. Averaged 14.5 points and 4.5 boards last season.

St Johns transfer LJ Figueroa announces for Oregon. Picked them over Auburn and Memphis. Going pro has not been ruled out yet per source #sjubb

Crock of shit re “Circumstances out of my control” lol

Now, it'd be great to 'fill' the vacant slot with a solid contributor. I'm rooting for Yor Anei, of those mentioned, but I'm sure the Staff is on it and will succeed in adding depth and/or a contributor.

I was a big fan of LJ but I totally agree with you. Everything was within his control and he just should have been honest about his reason for leaving.

Maybe the one thing not in his control was asking to come back and coach saying no. No inside information, was just talking to my brother and he commented that could be it.

The beginning of his statement was perfect. Should have left it at that.
