What a steal Immanuel Quickley was in this past draft. Knicks win. IQ was brilliant. I don't know how you don't put him in the starting lineup at this point. His NBA career is just two months old and he's miles better than Payton already

I get what you are saying but its really the minutes more so than whether or not he starts IMO. He is still learning his way. A 25/23 split in time at the position I think is OK for now. They all talked up Obi. Hopefully he can start showing something as the season goes on. Knox is still an engima.  
 
Lost to a contender today. Clippers shot the lights out. We gotta defend the 3 better. 

But Immanuel Quickley man! I think we'll look back 5 years from now and look at the RJ and Quickley picks in back to back years as the moves that turned the franchise around 
 
Knicks were the best defensive team in the league and that is what had them at .500 through the first 16 games. 

they are getting lazy on defense the past two games, way too many open threes

speaking of that. Keep an eye on the Dallas Mavericks. We have their first round pick this year unprotected. They are struggling right now mightily. 8-13. Root for them to lose
 
Feel like the team should go after JJ redick. He would solidify the three point shooting from the two spot. Of course you sacrifice defense so I'm not sure if Tibs wants to do that.

That's a good point.   But it reminds me that as a fan of the collective worst franchises in sports - Mets, Jets, Knicks, rooting for losing always seems to be the most hopeful option.

This team doesn't need a 36 year old taking minutes away from younger players. 
 
Not as big as the win for our Johnnies but the Knicks did beat the Bulls tonight...

and elfrid Payton got his sh*t together. 

my only wish right now is we find Obi Toppin more minutes
 
And while we were playing the Knicks won! Another doubleheader victory for us long suffering NY basketball fans.

Its tough for Obi being the backup to Randle. Playing 39 mins, only leaves Obi with 9. Same IQ. With Payton playinf better, It was a 35-13 split in time. With another game tomorrow, maybe he give them a little more but he really rides Randle and I don't blame him at this point. 
 
Shams saying it's Rose for Dennis Smith and 'draft compensation'. As long as it's not a first round pick it's a good trade. Thibs gets a guys he knows well. Quickley gets a vet mentor. Trade away a guy who never played.
