If anyone is familiar with George Clinton.... The guy with the ball on top of his skully resembles the "P-Funk" legend.
They shot most of that movie a few blocks from where I grew up. It should have been called “A Queens Tale” as Astoria is not in the Bronx.“The saddest thing in life is wasted talent”.

Not remotely a good band, a GREAT band…. right up there with the best live acts I’ve ever seen.If anyone is not familiar with George Clinton and the P Funk All Stars you need to get familiar.
When I was in college my roommates went to go see them. I couldn't because I had to cram for finals. I was still awake studying when they finally got home at 3 a.m. because the band played for freaking 5 and a half hours. Not remotely a good band, a GREAT band…. right up there with the best live acts I’ve ever seen.
With your mentioning of them, I used to post on the UConn WBB Boneyard and one of the most interesting features was the posting of very diverse music threads but only permitted during the off season. Big music guy, and I loved that feature.
100% feel the same way. He looks stronger, more athletic, strong drives to the lane. Looks poised.I'm not one to cry over spilt milk, but watching Storr going off for #6 Wisconsin, especially right on the heals of yesterday's loss, is bugging the crap out of me right now
He seems a bright player who functions well in structured offense at Wisconsin. It certainly is much better option for him than the West Fourth Street stuff CMA ran here.100% feel the same way. He looks stronger, more athletic, strong drives to the lane. Looks poised.
Announcers said something very similar. He still tries to force things a bit here and there, but by and large he's playing very under control and within the flow of the offenseHe seems a bright player who functions well in structured offense at Wisconsin. I suspect his D, not historical strength, may improve at Wisconsin as well.Announcers said something very similar. He still tries to force things a bit here and there, but by and large he's playing very under control and within the flow of the offense
I felt better watching a sequence where he cheated & got burned going for a steal, then losing his man, missing a rebound, and then on the other end, taking a reckless shot and getting benched. Maybe he's not MJ just yet. lol. (Obviously would still love to have him on this team...)I suspect his D, not historical strength, may improve at Wisconsin as well.
Especially when you need more than one guy to consistently give you points. So many BE teams have gifted shot making guards and wings. For whatever reason we just hope Jenkins can hit a shot at crunch time.I felt better watching a sequence where he cheated & got burned going for a steal, then losing his man, missing a rebound, and then on the other end, taking a reckless shot and getting benched. Maybe even including defense, Nothings been more disappointing to me than our total lack of shot creation outside of DJ, free throws & three point shootingEspecially when you need more than one guy to consistently give you points. That is such a handicap and makes it easy for opponents to plan and execute defensively for.
Really, surprising because I am also watching and he has done little IMO. 4-15 from floor 0-4 from 3, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, not active on either O or D unless he has the ball. Not knocking him, that’s what he was last year but more minutes, more shots.I'm not one to cry over spilt milk, but watching Storr going off for #6 Wisconsin, especially right on the heals of yesterday's loss, is bugging the crap out of me right now
He started well and flatlined lol “Monte Jinx”Really, surprising because I am also watching and he has done little IMO. 4-15 from floor 0-4 from 3, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, not active on either O or D unless he has the ball. Not knocking him, that’s what he was last year but more minutes, more shots.
Ok, that works because I only saw the 2nd half.He started well and flatlined lol “Monte Jinx”

So if this was for our team this year. It would have gone something like this on our board during the game.I posted at start of game. Came out like a lion. Finished like a lamb.
He doesn't have shin splints and he hasn't suddenly completely stopped playing well, so we'll still have to deal with Jekyll and Hyde-like exploding from afar over big Storr games (or big first halves) until we manage to sort our own stuff out. Sucks but it is what it is.So if this was for our team this year. It would have gone something like this on our board during the game.
Storrs the best!! If he keeps this up he will leave for the nba this year!
What the heck is this guy doing? Stop taking those shots! Pass the ball and get an assist already!!! Grab a rebound already!!
He sucks!!
