Health update on Barry 'Slice' Rohrssen: He remains in a Miami hospital for 1-3 more weeks dealing with multiple injuries after the tragic car accident.

His focus remains the same...
- getting well
- his family
- getting back home.

Someone needs to tell Z he's not allowed to recruit so put the phone down during photo ops.  ;)

That team got out of the gates slowly but picked things up around early January.  They became a fun team--from that point--to watch up until their first round flameout in the NCAA Tournament.

Those teams made me a St John’s fan.  Tough kids who didn’t take any crap. Loved watching them.

I love how Ron is the most successful athletically out of all of them and looks like he's still a college kid on his way to the next class.

Also, did Z shrink?

Ask Moose./media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png/media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png  He's probably slouching or it's a bad camera angle./media/kunena/emoticons/cool.png

Winning 12 of 13 got us in safely. The last two losses were heartbreakers, Ryan Blackwell buzzer beater in OT as Cuse edged us in BET semis and a 2 point loss to Detroit @The United Center. The basketball gods really fouled up, letting Felipe’s last second 3-ptr back rim.

Sounds like another “Oh Shit” moment for Johnnies fans.

If you have nothing positive to say in season you should keep it to yourself. Not fair to your teammates.

Perhaps playing four minutes last game displeased him. Maybe the old rule about kids not tweeting in season was not so bad, but that has its downside too re kids feeling limited.

Unfortunately that's the challenge especially in this free transfer environment. Kids expect to play and get big minutes immediately. Hard to keep them happy. But another reason I prefer to recruit transfers and JUCOs.

I have no patience with this kind of BS. Mid-major conference beckons perhaps.

Rather vague don’t you think to just assume the worst regarding him and the sju bball team.

This is a kid I do not want to lose.
He should  have a good chance at being a starter next season.

This is my favorite part of the season.

Speculating on a player from another team transferring to SJU and reading a kid's twitter page to determine his future status....

You are probably right. I'm sure it's a generational thing, but the whining/tweeting on social media tends to send me over the edge.
