 @FanDuel,
.

Those teams don’t exactly thrill me. I don’t even know how good Syracuse will be next year. I hope we get into another early season tournament as well.

 @FanDuel,

Would have been nice to get to play 2 of those teams.

Based on this year that is a pretty weak field. Should hold it in Carnesecca Arena.

Not sure where this falls....figured this would be the best place for it.

With the topic of Donations and fund raising across multiple threads- and the absolute need for it to be a competitive programs / be taken seriously as a school.... would starting a Redmen.com Athletic donation Fund be a good idea?

I mean, everyone here who posts/reads obviously wants to see the Program succeed, and part of that success is having a good donation base.... think this is not controversial and can be agreed upon.

Would the powers that be here at Redmen.com be willing to set up a donation Program? I know people can give individually to the program themselves- but a joint donation from the most Influential Red Storm Fan site could be a nice look. Maybe highlight %of Forum donors , maybe a matching from one of our more Monetary endowed posters...

Just a thought.

just quickly looking at the Stats of this site- more than 6k usernames... whether that is 6k unique users... i dunno.... but if each user gave 10$ to a Redmen.com Fund - a 60k donation is a nice chunk of change.

I know some of those in the "Sports Investing" Forum can prob afford to give more ;)

100$ from Brian3 should this get off the ground.

Can’t you just do a GoFundMe page? I would throw in $100

Has anyone hit the donate button at the top of this page (heart with $) to help fund Redmen.com?

Your donations can help defray the thousands of dollars that it costs to host and maintain this site.

Done - should have that as a pinned topic on the front page - transparent cost to keep the site running and where we stand in terms of  $$$ operating costs etc... we all enjoy the ability to read and post- we should understand the cost it takes.

Thanks Knight.

Gonna chase the whole Redmen.com Donation thing.... i envision... The Redmen.Com Tavern at CA, adult beverage stand which will help drive attendance lol

Correct. There is no truth to the rumor the donations will go to chair backs for the moderators.
